(Sorry to those who are seeing this again. Tumblr never put this in the tags, but another post I made from another sideblog did, so I’m reuploading.)
Bokuroo is love. I’d fight you all to defend these two dorks.
Kuroo being all, this is my adorable owl boyfriend, you can look, but don’t touch XD
Another sketch. This is an OC of mine that I like to draw every once in awhile.
But what if...his college uniform is really short, but he still wears his ridiculous kneepads? Hee-hee
If you didn’t know how much I love Bokuroo, you will. You will. Also, what the heck is Bokuto’s hair? It makes so little sense up, and then down it is just...sigh (it is hard to make Bo look like Bo with his hair down).
I want to dedicate this to @strigibae because they are amazing, and helped me get obsessed with Bokuroo.
Was working on writing chapter 8 of Toss a Penny, and had some major MakoRin feels, so I finished up an old sketch I had lying around :D
Yay, practice sketches! I like a lot of different Haikyuu Kuroo and Bokuto ships, but bokuroo is like my fave OTP (it even makes my top 5 all time OTP list), so I gotta practice drawing them :D
My straps from jimiagency came right before Heroes and Daisuki Con. I am super excited about them. I will be putting together a sketchbook/button/badge/strap/sticker packet that will be for sale shortly after the fourth of July that will have them in it.
I thought I'd show everyone my awesome convention/travel watercolor setup.
The picture shows:
1) My 13 x 13 x 2.75" craft storage box all closed and ready to take
2) Next to it is the box open, with my smaller 7.5 x 11 x 1" craft box (it was trimmed from 5" tall to 1" tall, the height of the lid, and then the edge was covered with electrical tape). The smaller box has metal hot glued to the bottom that magnets can stick to. There are also my paper towels (Viva brand) that are essential to my watercolor painting.
3) Under the first layer of paper towels is where I securely store my brushes. I have my favorites: a Blick brand Small Silver Black Velvet squirrel/synthetic blend, a size 10 round Red Sable that I bought a few months ago, a size 2 round red sable/synthetic blend, and a size 6 flat red sable. Not pictured (because I forgot they were in my office) are my two plastic droppers for water and my 2 Pentel Aquash waterpens.
4) I remove the small craft storage box and the towels and under that is a matte board cut to size to just fit and keep my small vials of liquid watercolors from shifting too much. There is also some watercolor paper swatches for color testing. There are some shorter pieces under the matte board too.
5) Now we take out the matte board and you see my extra palette colors that I'm not currently using hanging out, along with my cricut spatula that works amazing for getting those magnetic little suckers off of the magnetic board underneath them. The paint are in these stackable containers I found at Hobby Lobby and turned into watercolor pans. There is a gap underneath where they should stack, but I put a magnet there instead. I put tube paint into the pans. I needed something that would raise the height a bit, so it is a magnetic 12 x 12" marker board that is about 3/4 of an inch thick. I hot-glued it to the bottom of the main box. Surrounding that are all the vials of my liquid watercolor that go all the way to the bottom and are snugly held in place by the marker board and the layers above it. I pulled out three so you can see them. They are vials I found for $5.50 on amazon for like 30. They are watertight, so no leaking liquid watercolor. There is also my ceramic palette that I adore. I can't use plastic, it drives me nuts.
6) Okay, now let's open up my little box and see what is inside. Oh! It is my current palette and most used colors. This is where I keep the current paints I'm using, as well as all of my color reference charts for all the pans as well as the vials. They are categorized using a system for different brands. I use letters (A-Z), numbers (1-20), and numbers with 0's (001-020) to distinguish the different brands and types
That's it, I hope you liked my little post, and perhaps it'll help you make your own travel kit.
I really like the sketch on this one and will probably try another version eventually, but here is take one of fem!mer-Haru.
I keep wanting to do something for the MakoHaru fest, but I'm having trouble getting inspired this year. So here, have a random Mer!AU sloppy sketch of these two cuties. I might try to make it into a print later for con season.
a Bonus sketch that goes with a story I wrote for the [2014 Makoto Birthday Fanworks Exchange]. I'm crushing hardcore on MakoRin this week. I really, really love it. If you want to read the story, it is [here].
Also, if you don't know what is happening here, Rin might be whispering naughty things to Makoto XD
Used reference lightly. It makes a world of difference when you reference stuff. Also, I <3 Rin a lot.
Not gonna lie, I love me some SouRin <3
First Picture: "Dragon Mother" An OC for an upcoming project I have in the works.
Second Picture: 10 year old half-dragon/half-human Pyrrole, wrapped up in his cloak. He is another OC from the same project (you can probably a resemblance to the character at the top).
Third Picture: 17 year old Pyrrole (shush, this did not start out at as a MakoHaru AU *shifty eyes*)
Last Picture: Another 17 year old Pyrrole (you can totally tell this started out as a MakoHaru AU -__-)
I have been drawing for 8 hours. My hand feels like it is going to fall off.
