piper being a lesbian could honestly work so well like she never even mentioned liking a boy before jason or showing any interest to any boys other than jason. the only reason she had any feelings towards jason is because of the fake memories implanted by hera. in hoo, she spends all her time thinking about jason constantly since that’s how she thought she was supposed to feel. her feelings toward annabeth could be interpreted as much more romantic than her feelings toward jason.

piper mclean as your girlfriend (fem reader!)

- hand holding! piper would hold your hand everywhere you guys go together, even if it’s one thousand degrees out and your palms are sweaty.

- she loves physical touch, especially giving kisses. she’ll make sure to kiss you every where on your face and won’t miss an inch.

- piper will braid your hair or play with your hair every night as you’re falling asleep together. she always makes sure to kiss the back of your neck before going to bed.

- she’ll always make sure you comfortable !! whether if it’s when she’s introducing you to her friends or family or somewhere new, she always wants you to feel safe.

- you love it when piper does your makeup because even though she’s not exactly a professional, she’ll straddle your waist and apply makeup while you’re laying down. it’s intimate and romantic

- if you’re ever upset, she’ll sit with you and bring you tea and let you talk it out if you want, or just a shoulder to cry on.

- she’ll love you forever unconditionally.

Am I the only one who interpreted Piper as being a total lesbian? Not bi or pan, but like she learned through trial and error she's just... not attracted to guys.

Because what it feels like happened is she dated Jason, it was going well all romantic and sappy, they were dating for a while so they started doing more than just a kiss here and there, and she realized she wasn't feeling it. And, like, if she's not attracted that way to Jason Grace of all people then maybe she's not into men at all.

So they broke up and she worked on "finding herself" and "figuring stuff out" which really meant "I've come to the conclusion that despite what Hera and Aphrodite pushed me to be, men just aren't my thing. I was so wrapped up in this heternormative culture and relationship goals I didn't even consider other possibilities"

And Jason has been a hardcore LGBTQ+ ally from the beginning (as we saw with his immediate protectiveness once Nico was outed) so he couldn't be anything other than understanding and supportive, even if he was disappointed at first. So they stayed the best of friends

But it really feels like that's what happened. That she realized she was flat out gay.

Because it's nice we have so many characters who are so certain about their sexuality from the start... But in reality a lot of times we find that we're wrong. That we're not attracted to people like we thought or expected or wanted to be. A lot of LGBTQ+ kids often find it's a process discovering what they like and don't like. A lot of people have relationships with the opposite gender before realizing "actually this feels wrong" and that's totally fine and normal.

As nice as it is to have a bi Piper, it'd also be awesome for a recognition that it's perfectly okay for a person to date someone and go "wait this isn't right..."
