She stood at the helm of her ship, glaring out into the depths of space as they sped through the stars, She was on a mission to do some good for once, and save a friend she thought lost for so many sweeps yet now, despite their rocky past here she was breaking into a nunnery to save her, friend(?) and her colleagues. It shouldn't be long before she reached said floating rock having managed to track it down with some help from an ally of hers, though she now owed them a favor.
A flash of anxiety bubbled up inside of her as she watched the cloister start to grow in size as they flew closer, but she quickly squashed it down as she began to take command once, her hand idly reaching into her pocket to pull out her fake fluorite octet to roll while she spoke to her crew, the dice clacking across the small desk she kept by her chair.
“Alright ladies, gents and crew, I want all port side weapons armed and ready to go at a moments notice, we’re only going to have one chance to get this done, we need to take out as many of those drones on the docks as possible, then we need to get in there and get as many jades onto this ship as possible.” She barks the orders to her crew with ease, falling into the roll of captain as easily as she slipped on clothes as her eyes flit over the dice, her only reaction being a grimace.
3, 7, 1, 4, 8, 8, 1, 6.
A Pyrrhic victory. She couldn't let that ill omen bother her, it didn’t matter if her dice were usually accurate falling into an anxiety ridden mindset was how you lost a limb, or worse. She needed to change her focus so instead she picked up the com link that was crackling to life beside her. She knew who it was the overseer of the cloister, demanding to know who she was and what she was here for.
She told them what they wanted to hear, she was Elinae Pritae captain of transport vessel #44627180, she was here to deliver another load of jades to the cloister, anything that they wanted to hear really, anything to get her and her crew closer all the while trolls scrambled around the ship preparing, then slowly her ship began to turn, far from docking but she didn't need to just yet.
She could hear the overseer asking her what she was doing, she didn't reply, simply cutting the line as she stood up from her chair and roaring the command to her crew that would kick everything off, for good or for ill, it was time to start a jail break, so with all the force she could muster she gave the order drawing her sword to be at the ready.
“FIRE!”
