Kiri’s wish was the bois beeing sleepy and cuddly, so here they are! It’s the first time I drew them not-chibi with clean lineart and colors. Figuring out the pose took some time, but I’m pretty happy with the outcome. Ignore the anatomical errors, I did my best.

ROAD TRIP ZINE: PRINT-EDITION CHARITY AUCTION!!

There are only 6 extra physical copies of the 24-page full-color collaborative fan-zine, and we're going to be auctioning them off for a 2nd donation to the HOCHTX! This zine will not be available ever again, so if you want the print version, this is your only chance!

This "silent auction" will take place on October 13th, 2021 (Wednesday) on this Tumblr! I will make a separate post when it opens. Bidding will end at 10 PM CST on October 13th, 2021.

Bidders will send either a tumblr ask to the RoadTripZine account- or an email to AustinVanderwilt (at) Gmail (dot) com with their bid amounts. I will either answer privately on tumblr, or e-mail back, to confirm the bid has been placed.

I will then post the bid anonymously (as in, not saying who made it) on this Tumblr. The top six highest bidders will receive one copy of the print version of the zine after paying for their bid through PayPal, plus shipping. (Shipping is not included in the bid.)

You must be over 18 to bid!! You're welcome to bid from outside the US, but remember that shipping is extra!

My piece for the “So Many Falls” Fanzine :D

It’s not a secret that I’m a fan of the Mystery Trio AU, but I never told how I imagine the beginnings of this AU. And because I love the “Welcome to Gravity Falls” postcard so much, I wanted to make my own.

When I was finished, I got the opportunity to turn my piece into real postcards:

My piece for the Road Trip Fanzine :D

Mystery Trio again! @roadtripzine This time the theme of the fanzine was “Road Trip”, so we could send our chosen charas on an adventure to other tourist traps than the Mystery Shack. I chose “The World Biggest Cuckoo Clock” for two reasons. First, I wanted to draw something located in the Black Forest in Germany what I had visited myself. Second, there are more than one big cuckoo clock very near to each other and there was a lot trouble which one is bigger, older, more beautiful… back in the 80s. It felt like a good opportunity to draw a hunted mechanical cuckoo with the Mystery Trio solving the problem in there way. I used this piece to include references to one of my fave movies (it made me so happy that it got recognized!!! X3) and also a great scene from Gravity Falls episode. 

I would love to explain everything else right now, but I don’t want to limit the fun for you (and me ;D), so I will give you some time before I add my nerd talk about details ;D

Somewhere there is still pride month... here I'm too late again. Some of these stickerdesigns are two years old, but I never upload them. I don't feel proud, I mostly feel miserable and want to hide under a stone... but now I can look back and see how far I've come with the help of my friends (special thanks to @kiriokami !!). I'm still hiding under my stone and am far away from feeling proud BUT here I am. Still working out how to make an online shop and taking photos of things (thanks again @kiriokami !!!). Soon. Really soon.

Double Dipper :D

I’m learning how to cast and make molds, everything is new to me. Because of Dipper’s head-size I had to give him a base to stand. He fits in pose and size to the Ford figurine from the Mystery Shack :)
