Some advice on drawing fiddleford, if you want it

the idea of fiddleford doing everything can not only to normalize but to celebrate ford’s sixth finger.

he doesn’t just make six fingered gloves for ford, he makes extra wide mittens, finds brass knuckles with an extra finger hole, and defends ford LIKE MAD whenever someone dares to make fun of his polydactyl.

and honestly? it is refreshing for ford. he really enjoys it and he loves how much fidds seems to care. fiddleford always has been good at that– going out of his way to care for others.

but. one day.

one day, fiddleford has an idea. he and ford have just made a breakthrough with the portal, and they’re incredibly excited. fidds raises a hand to his friend and goes “HIGH SIX!!”

he’s hoping his friend will be pleased, as he usually is when fidds goes out of his way to include him.

but ford just stares at him, expression suddenly dark and blank. he blinks, sniffles quietly. looks away.

fiddleford panics, knowing something is wrong but not knowing what. he tried to ask ford what’s wrong but ford suddenly shakes himself off, closes his eyes for a moment, then celebrates their victory.

but he’s not nearly excited as he should be.
