This is my main problem with Milo Murphy’s Law Season 2. And this is why I really want a third Season. Doofenshmirtz took up so much screen time that other side characters didn’t get a chance to shine.
What about Brick and Savannah? They appeared in 8 episodes in Season 1, how many times did they appear in Season 2? Two episodes. I don’t understand why they didn’t have them show up more in the background selling pistachios. They only did that once in Adventure Buddies. In Season 1, we saw Cavendish and Dakota selling pistachios in the background a bunch of times. Even though sometimes they were on screen for just a second or two, it showed that they were still there. And it’s a cute Easter egg for someone with a sharp eye.
Drako? He really seems like an interesting character. He appeared/was mentioned in 10 episodes in Season 1 and 4 episodes in Season 2.
Elliot, one of Milo’s rivals, appeared/was mentioned in 11 episodes in Season 1 and 7 episodes in Season 2.
AND EVEN ZACK! A MAIN CHARACTER! In Season 1, the only episode he wasn’t in, was “The Little Engine That Couldn’t”. In Season 2, he wasn’t in the episodes, “Agee Ientee Diogee”, “Disco Do-Over”, “Dog Walker, Runner, Screamer”, and “Now I Am a Murphy”. Four episodes without Zack showing up for even a second!
But to me the most noticeable ones were Cavendish and Dakota, they appeared/were mentioned in 26 episodes in Season 1 but only 18 episodes in Season 2. That’s mainly because they had to cut something out to make more room for Doof.
The acceptations are Scott, Mildred, Sara, Milo’s parents and Milo’s classmates Chad, Mort, Amanda, and Bradly. They appeared in about the same amount of episodes or more in Season 2 than in Season 1.
Don’t get my wrong, I love Doofenshmirtz. He’s the main reason why I like Phineas and Ferb. But I started watching Milo Murphy’s Law because I liked the show. And it was really cool that they had a crossover episode. But Doof already had 4 Seasons to shine while it feels like the characters in Milo Murphy’s Law only had a Season and a half because Doof took up so much screen time.
