ok but what about megumi growing up actually thinking satoru couldn’t find them when they used to play hide n seek, like he would always use his shadows to try to mask tsumiki’s and his presence. he would be so proud that he can ‘beat’ satoru and would feel so smug ab it.

so imagine his reaction when he’s in the school’s kitchen w yuji and nobara arguing ab sneaking away to buy a pair of satoru’s sunglasses bc it’s the third pair they’ve lost this month (nobara keeps stealing his replacement back up glasses bc maybe sensei has amazing designer glasses she borrows from time to time, not that it makes him that cool ok??) and he was going to notice. and megumi keeps insisting that if he uses the shadows, satoru won’t notice bc he was able to trick him all throughout his childhood like cmon, he played thousands of times hide and seek and satoru never found him and they are like ??? bro ?? lemme hold your hand when i tell you this but megumi is so closed in being able to device satoru.

nobody notices satoru popping out of nowhere- seriously how does this guy appears in the most random of places- and having listened to the whole convo, he goes “yeah i always knew where u were, i just pretended. aw i thought u knew gummi!”
