The fact that Kyoko’s marriage to Soichiro made her abandon her studies and fractured her relationship with her own parents only for Soichiro to die 6 months after the wedding and she ended up alone is really sad when you think about it.
No wonder she developed a fear of abandonment after that experience…

Mrs. Ichinose was always a great character, but lately I've been watching the anime (verrry slowly) and they did such a heartrending/heartwarming take on the sports festival episode that I have Very Big Feelings about this family now
