"...I could not be happier..."

I guess I'm on a self-proclaimed mission to draw scenes that left an impact on me in one way or another... This also means that it takes me forever to play Hijikata's route, but I'm also never going to play this for the 2nd first time ever again... however, I will continue to get emotional over these scenes.

(PS: this scene happens right after the disaster that is Koufu. Protecting Chizuru and Kondou from Amagiri, exposes his Rasetsu transformation to Kondou, who -having just learned that it's essentially an early death sentence- could not be more devastated about it. Hijikata tries to laugh it off (I can use this new power for good), but Chizuru notices that the rain might not be the only thing rolling down his cheeks)
