Y'all are calling Queen of Tears a dark/black comedy, but as someone who has lived through watching someone in my life die of a terminal illness more than once now, this is not funny. Black humour requires everyone to be able to see something to laugh at in the situation, mostly, I can't decide whether I want to cry or throw up.

Yep, Haein's family is awful and she's hasn't gone so great herself in her relationship but bloody hell, at least they are honest about being terrible people. Hyunwoo, on the other hand, instead of just being honest with her and leaving the marriage, hides his rotten behaviour behind an facade and calls himself "good". He doesn't even stay because he married her and he actually cares that she's dying even if he doesn't have romantic feelings anymore - he stays to scam her into leaving him an inheritance. That's truly despicable.

TL;DR Hyunwoo is a lying liar who lies and they are going to have to work extremely hard to get me to like him (and this drama)
