The glass pendant with little items from nature that have a special meaning to me were picked by her and it is based on my favourite quote (by Linda Hogan) which is inside as well (see image) My daughter is the sixth female in a straight line of our maternal ancestry, born in a different country (since around 1890 all women born in different countries) It is a salute to this story that means so much to me; a thank you to all those women born before me and those who come after me; we are rough gemstones on a precious necklace, carved by life; matriarchs, carers, lovers, lifegivers. Women who run with the wolves, through time and space.
