Irritation, she feels it welling within the centre of her being, stifling a grunt or two as she stands and listens to this balderdash, the vivacity of smaragdine irises pulsating brighter to project her steadily-increasing ire although she keeps herself imperturbable. She has a tendency to take things personal, especially when the subject of Isleen somehow manages to worm its way into the conversation but she tells herself over and over again akin to a madness mantra that she must control her indignation. Listening to this man’s palaver is near maddening on a standalone, and her nose quirks at the canteen once her aggrandized sense of smell catches a whiff of what’s inside of it. “I could break those walls pretty easy," she susurrates rather casually, although the malice is there. "—Sure they’re pretty high, but I’m guessing magic would rip through them. And I’m also guessing whatever you’re trying to keep out would be able to come in then? Heh, maybe that would be for the best, I’d love to see you get mangled and mutilated."
"Mag--ic?" The commander questions, legitimately thrown a curve by the utterance of a strange and unheard word. Not that it really matters to him, since the elder knows better than to believe in such a foolhardy miracle solution to the ever-growing titan problem. Another sip of the overly potent alcohol and he's clearing his throat loudly before electing to speak further. It's clear that she's frustrated and now he's headed back to earlier points that were previously pushed to the back burner due to the one piece of the conversation he required clarification for. "Even among the Titans there exist only two who have penetrated our walls." It's laughable really, to listen to such blasphemous drivel coming from the mouth of a human as they overlook the ramparts. "You can get executed for that sort of talk there, you know -- it's bad for morale around here and if you haven't noticed that's already perilously low. Desertion and court martial rates climb with each month that we go without progressing against the Titans. You'd truly damn your own kind? Pity."
