Can you share some resources on where you learned to use rope safely? Asking to learn.
First things first, rope isn't safe. Just like driving in a car or downhill skiing or rock climbing you can take all the safety measures in the world and still end up very hurt. Anatomie varies, people can have nerves in unexpected places, missing ribs or ligaments, unexpected emotional responses. Hard points can break and ropes can snap or slip. You must understand, accept and consent to that before you start.
Saying that, there are many things you can do to mitigate harm. For bottoms, learn your body, learn how to communicate, learn what feels wrong, get comfortable saying no and stop even when you want to continue. For tops, talk to your bottoms, learn their individual bodies, learn how they communicate, pay attention to little things like how their breathing changes when things don't feel right or how they sink in when it does.
After that, know that no single resource or instructor is infallible, we learn new things about rope safety and the human body all the time. Even a very good tie can be unbearable or dangerous on the wrong body. I will say that as far as online resources go shibari study is a good place to start. I also suggest going on fetlife and finding local classes. Learn from many sources and you will become far better at recognizing what good rope instruction looks like.

A fun little video of some rope flow with @knottydevil at the shivashakti festival last year! Looking forward to performing at KF in 2 weeks!
Go follow my alt 👀✨️💕
We just did friendsgiving and there was rope and corn and a harness and a cleaver and the chopping event was erotic in a way that's likely illegal in several states.
Am I supposed to view this sexually or artistically?
✨️yes✨️
A keepsake from a very very hot tie with @pixseabait and @ouchieropebby
I need her back here ASAP 💕
Just a hot little basement role play with @pixseabait

This was a good day... y'all think we should use this chair more often?
tumblrs fav mediocre shibari bro doesn't fuck with fat girls, that's lame af and I'm embarrassed for you all
"shibari is hard to do on bigger bodies!!"
It's fucken rope, bro. shut the fuck up
I'm so grateful to have a partner skilled at tying bigger bodies. Everyone deserves access to shibari no matter their size, which is why I've been learning to tie primarily on bigger bodies.

for your consideration: caulk work boots (typically used in forestry and lumber)
also for your consideration: a few trans girls, a large plastic sheet on the floor, and tattoo ink.
thank you for your time.
Aaaaaand here’s another bamboo tie featuring hellehound (IG)
I think I enjoy bamboo predicaments and suspensions so much because bamboo on the upper body is usually quite sustainable and then there is more room for play and exploration.
It's been a while since I've done a bamboo tie.... 👀💕
I'M GONNA FIGHT BUT YOU ALWAYS WIN 💕
From an evening with my love @knottydevil
Sometimes rope is super super serious and the headspace is intense….aaaaaand sometimes it’s hilarious 😂 anyway here is a fun blend of both from a shoot with 2tiedinrope (IG) and adorgeous_ (IG) tied by myself and tie_rope_take_photo (IG)
So much of the posts I make get hidden 😭 I’m happy this one is back
