"I don’t like you."
"Is it my face?"
In truth, she hadn’t been following Rioko; she was merely headed in the same direction. Or at least, that had been the case when Ririchiyo had first noticed the leaf upon her shoulder. Looking around now though, she felt a bit lost. She flipped open her phone and tried to map her way back in the correct direction. Once that was set, Ririchiyo had nearly continued on her way when she was stopped by Rioko’s voice.
“Do you go to school around here? I don’t remember a face like yours.”
Ririchiyo thought for a moment. She wasn’t technically enrolled at a school here yet, but she would be soon. She shrugged and replied honestly, her tone now casual.
“No, I’m not. But might I presume that you do?”
As an afterthought, she added silently, ‘Though in a big city like Tokyo, it’d be difficult to remember every student’s face.’
Rioko pondered at the question before answering. She wouldn't say she went to school, because that would be a lie. She was home schooled. Seldom listened to the lessons because it was the same teacher everyday. Same teacher, yet they couldn't even remember teaching her the day before. In her free time where she was supposed to be using to study, she would escape the hospital. Wander around, and meet a variety of people. "Nah. School's boring. I skip often, and you just seem, I don't know." Rioko shrugged. "Out of place."
The sound of a growling dog always caught his attention when he was dazed off on a walk. Bird like instincts would tell him to turn away and walk on a different path; however this time, he paused after noticing the girl standing before it. Curious, Youko watched, and was honestly surprised when she ended up flinging herself behind his body for protection. Now there was nothing standing between him and the Great Dane… was there something about him that people just knew he was the Guardian type?
☼ - " Uh… you okay? "
He hoped he didn’t sound as afraid as she was.
Rioko was in shame. She never minded the fact that people said she sometimes came off as callous, bored, or nonchalant. What she didn't want people to think, was that she could come off as someone scared or dependent like a weakling. Rioko is not a weakling, but here she is. Hiding behind a stranger, and too afraid to notice anything else. "I'm fine. I'm just," Pausing to cringe at how disgusting that Great Dane is drooling. "Deathly allergic to dogs." She clutched the back of his shirt. Damn her wimpy instincts.
≉ ♔ ≉ ;; Yuichi wasn’t sure if it was right to pry on things that weren’t his business. But, he didn’t think it was right for her to escaped from the hospital, when she could be really sick. He didn’t know her situation or why she had been trying to escape, so he didn’t ask. ”…—— So, now that you are out, where do you plan on going?" He inquired her, with an eyebrow raised up. Yuichi didn’t want to be involved when a girl died because she escaped from a hospital—— but, it wasn’t right for him to just leave her now at this point in time.
She'd be lying if she said, she wasn't waiting for him to ask, the golden question: Why? -- so that she could have the chance to answer that she was not, in fact, a sick person, and just bored out of her mind. Rioko never liked being regarded as a sick person. She looked away, a little saddened by his question. "Since I'm dying tomorrow," She blurted out on a whim. "I'm going to do everything that's on my bucket list."
After some seconds of being on the floor, he realized what was happening and immediately stood up, helping the girl.
“Sorry ‘bout that. I’m Hayato. Some people are chasing me, do you live near this place? I need to hide for a while.” That sounds creepy.
She squinted her eyes ever so skeptically at the male and his outstretched hand. She reluctantly took it. "Hayato. Right. I'm Rioko-- Wait. Hold on a minute." This was all going so fast, and most importantly, weird. Rioko's eyes darted to every possible direction, trying to find a place to hide this suspicious man without getting other people suspicious of him, like she was of him right now. She pointed towards a playground. "My place is miles away, but there's a dome we can hide in?" Brilliant plan. We'll take this bleeding man into a kid play zone.
{ ♔ } ❝ O-O-Oh… I-I’m sorry… People say I am really innocent… But people never called me ignorant. ❞ Linda sighed and closed her eyes. ❝ I-I do act like a kid and you’re not a psychoo?!!? Waaah sorry sorry sorry! ❞
Rioko twisted her mouth. "Don't worry about it. I guess there are some perks to being innocent. Like rarity in your kind-- dare I say, precious, even?" Taking a bite out of the her wafer cone, she sheepishly rubbed the back of her neck. "It's okay. Don't apologize. It's good to be on guard. I think?"
—Well… a teen killing someone does look kinda “flashy”, enough as to be in the news, at least to be mentioned. So… if you don’t want to be in them, you should kill and leave certain false proves that the assassin was an old hag, such as wearing big shoes… but make sure to not leave any skin contact trail or you’ll be catched.
Contrary, if what you want to be in the news… depending on how much “fame” you want, you could just kill him, or her, with poison, or do something more grotesque…— why was she explaining? Oh well… at least she guessed that telling examples for what she meant with “grotesque” could scare the young lady, so she decided to wait for her answer and stop talking.
A moment of silence before she answered. Rioko should assume she watches crime investigation tv shows before coming to the conclusion that this lady might be a lunatic herself. "That's very detailed and smart, actually. I like it. Continue." Her voice doesn't show any obvious interest, but it isn't everyday you get onto a topic like this. She must take as much out of it as she can.
-“I see, that sounds lovely. And me? To be quite honest, I don’t have anyone to call friends by. And your not temperamental, young one. I have seen much worse…And as for me? I love swimming. Surfing in the ocean is my favorite thin to do,” Alyssa said as they walked side by side, a smile ever on her face.
A side glance, and then a little smile. But she quickly forced the corners of her lips to fall. "If I'm lucky enough, I'll have you teach me to surf." Rioko whispered inaudibly and just before she can ask about it, she turned towards Alyssa. "We're here." Then pointed at a window from the outside of the ice rink. "That's the ticket booth. This one's on me. I'll pay."
apologies for not being here for a week. i've queued all my replies ^_^

"I'm not -- . . I'm not afraid of you." Confident words, but were uttered through a trembling voice. This was an unfortunate day. The day a Great Dane would block her path, and man, was it huge. Rioko stood her ground, trying to compose herself, but no matter how hard she tried, her body still managed to quake on its own. One bark was all it took to make her flinch, and cower behind the nearest person. Truly pathetic, Rioko. Truly pathetic.

”It’s just a scratch, I’m okay.”
Falls on the girl. He’s not okay. Not at all.
Her eyes narrow at him. "You're definitely not o-- -- !!" Feeling the weight as soon as he leaned on her, she yelped in attempt to bring him back to his senses. Rioko grabbed for his shoulders, but dammit. She really had no muscles for this. In futile effort to make him standing up again, she fell down with him. Rioko winced, then seethed into the crook of his neck. "Get up and-- " Grunting noises indicating that she was still trying to pry him off her body. " . . --Go to a hospital."
—Ia ia… deppends on how you do it~ who do you wish to kill, young lady~?
Rioko frowned a little, looking away. "Nobody. In particular. . . Nevermind. Forget it." She wasn't expecting that type of answer. She was expecting more on the lines of bewildered or perplexed. Even though she had told the girl to forget it. She was still a tad bit curious. "Well. How should I do it?" Rioko no.
As Rioko’s shoulders relaxed, Ririchiyo relaxed her own stance, realizing only now that her body language appeared rather defensive.
“You could have just told me that.” Rioko turned her head and patted her shoulder.
She had tried to tell her though. Or perhaps the words hadn’t quite come out and she’d simply been repeating them to herself in her head. At this point, she couldn’t be sure, and it was a bit late for her to say something in order to prevent what had just happened.
“Thanks, I guess.”
"Y-you’re welcome, I suppose," Ririchiyo sniffed, her eyes following the leaf’s descent towards the ground.
She wasn’t sure whether or not she was supposed to respond; however, the way she pictured things in her head, it was better than not saying anything at all. She simply hoped that this would suffice in the event that the girl before her wished to continue this conversation; though it seemed highly unlikely that she would do so.
Rioko gave the girl a slight nod at her reply, then saying nothing more. She just stood there now like she had been doing before the girl confronted her. Then Rioko struck up a conversation. "Do you go to school around here? I don't remember a face like yours." 'Here' as in Tokyo, Japan, where Rioko currently resided in.
{ ♔ } ❝ Ahh, thank you for not being mad at me! It makes me feel better!! ❞ She smiled to the another girl, so she could she that she was happy now.
❝ What do you mean by "a little off?" ❞
Oh. Good. The girl cheered up. She retracted her hand from the other's head. On more pressing matters, "The fact that you're not aware of it yourself makes it disconcerting." She mumbled under her breath. Rioko coughed, waving her hand. "Anywho. What I mean is that you're imm-- " Careful with your diction, Rioko. "You're . . like a kid. Not to say that is a bad thing, but that also makes you ignorant. Too ignorant. You believed right away that I was a psycho-- which, I'm not. Sorry to burst your bubble."

"Oh my-- God. What happened to you?" She irked at the sight, even finding herself gaping a little.
≉ ♔ ≉ ;; Arguing with the girl seemed to be proven futile. He didn’t try to fight over who should be apologizing, but he still felt like he should. Yuichi stood up slowly, and rubbed his head—- letting out a heavy sigh. ”M’alright, really—- Sure, my head hurts a little bit but I’ll be alright." He’s had worse happen to him. Staring down at the girl, he raised an eyebrow at her. ”What are you doin’ jumping out of a building like that anyway? You’re lucky I was there to catch you." He was actually glad he was.
Still feeling a little frazzled, Rioko decided to say on the grass when the man got up. It was a good thing she jumped out of a hospital. If he was feeling slightly light headed, a trip to the hospital would only take a few seconds. She looked down at the ground, occupying her hands by plucking out a blade of grass, one at a time. "Why else would someone jump out of a building rather than take the exit? To escape."
