“I’m a doctor.” He smiled as his thumbs felt the bumps of the vertebrae by the base of mort’s neck. “I just take joy in helping those in need. A stressful day can hurt your precious bones.” His eyes moved to the thin thighs. his precious femurs buried deep into those legs. Such amazing structures almost sent Lorenzo into a salivating state. “How are your hips doing?”
“My hips are fine, thank you.” He was quick to reply in a sharp tone. He stood up without another moment’s worth of hesitation, shrugging the doctor off. “The rest of me is fine as well. I do not need your services today, thank you.”
“But surely you can’t be fully sure. All is needed is a small exam to make sure you are in full health , you never know sir. You could be having something forming in you and when you dont make appointments you’ll never catch it in time.” He eyed the man with a soft smile. “Why are you so off put near me? Are you scared of a doctor?”

Well this night was a bit of a turn. Both men had cuts from the small bloodplay. Nothing too big a knick here and a slice there. But Lorenzo was a doctor after all and knew how to clean the wounds they have caused. Mostly on Archer…. poor Archer always bleeding the most… his poor lover. Having to get a few stitches here and there just now.
With a smile he poured a bath and turned to Archer on his bed. Still naked as he pulled the man up by the arms and helped him in the warm water before joining. Archer being much taller made it a bit hard, but he made it so the taller man sat in front and between Lorenzo’s legs.
Using a washcloth to dab at the marks on the pale back. Water turning a pink like a rose. Who needed petals when your lover turned the water colours? He smiled at the thought before leaning in to kiss a cut along the stitching.

𝓣he man was at the desk dissecting animals with no mechanic parts. New To the ones in this world. It was harder to find flesh among the metal. But Lorenzo did find some birds in his trap, and was wondering how such a fragile creature survive on barron and lack of natural nutrients. With this he may create a way to help the weak of these new metal people, the proper way... none of those metal attachments. But to bring flesh back alive was a test he needed his new angel for.
To him it wasn’t normal, but yet it was odd how they can survive. With this he asked Izzy to create him a metal forming brain small enough to fit in his palm, a machine to recreate stem cells.
“Mind handing me the .....” Before he could finished he watched her attach the “brain” to the part that was “the heart”
Soon the two have formed a dead body alive again. Just by connecting circuits to each other.
“We make a great pair.” He smiled as the creature wiggled off the desk.

The Sedlec Ossuary (Czech: Kostnice v Sedlci) is a small Roman Catholic chapel, located beneath the Cemetery Church of All Saints (Czech: Hřbitovní kostel Všech Svatých), part of the former Sedlec Abbey in Sedlec, a suburb of Kutná Hora in the Czech Republic. The ossuary is estimated to contain the skeletons of between 40,000 and 70,000 people, whose bones have, in many cases, been artistically arranged to form decorations and furnishings for the chapel. The ossuary is among the most visited tourist attractions of the Czech Republic - attracting over 200,000 visitors annually.
The abbey became a popular place to be buried after 1278, when the abbot made a pilgrimage to Jerusalem and returned to sprinkle some dirt from Golgotha on the churchyard. The cemetery had to be greatly enlarged in the 14th century, due to the huge numbers of deaths from the bubonic plague and the Hussite Wars. In 1400, an ossuary, or place to gather the bare bones of the dead, was constructed as a final resting place for the occupants of the mass graves. Originally, the bones were merely stacked in the ossuary, but in 1870, František Rint, a woodcarver, was employed by the Schwarzenberg family to put the bone heaps into order, yielding a macabre result.
Four enormous bell-shaped mounds occupy the corners of the chapel. An enormous chandelier of bones, which contains at least one of every bone in the human body, hangs from the center of the nave with garlands of skulls draping the vault. Other works include piers and monstrances flanking the altar, a coat of arms of the House of Schwarzenberg, and the signature of Rint, also executed in bone, on the wall near the entrance.

I feel like it’s been a really good while since I’ve had a chance to write about native wildflowers while they are in bloom, but the other day I finally went for a short walk and found one of the heralds generally announcing the end of winter- it’s already spring, but we’re expecting more snow and it’s still pretty cold here in central Scotland. Coltsfoot is a well known hardy perennial native to Europe, the Mediterranean and parts of Asia, generally found in a wide range of conditions and at different altitudes and easily recognisable due to the bright yellow flower heads typical of its family and quite similar to dandelions (Taraxacum officinale). The flower stalks usually push through the moist soil during the first few warmer days of the year, well before the large cordate leaves, so the plant was known as filius ante patrem (the son before the father) with a Latin periphrasis in medieval Italy. Once the leaves are out, colonies of the plant work well as an efficient groundcover, but it tends to spread around freely so, if desired, it might work better in a container, buried or not.
One of the first plants I learnt to identify as a six-year-old thanks to that old medicinal plants book I mentioned here and there, it has a really long history of traditional use. Interestingly, it isn’t flagged in the book as potentially dangerous or toxic like others, but that’s because in the 70s they just didn’t know yet. Although it is reportedly even edible as the cooking process reduces its toxicity, I think we should just leave coltsfoot alone and let it tell us when spring is coming (hopefully).
