Stranger design I'm finally happy with.. 💥💣💥

still needs some tweaks here and there, still not 100% on the bow tie/neck situation and still not sure if I should give her a crown or not.. but very happy with this design as a first few doodles that I've coloured..

even though I 100% prefer Super Mario 3D Land over 3D World, 3D World still has some sentimental value to me that I've recently been revisiting. The Tanooki Suit is very cute and fun and I love Peach's Tanooki Suit design, but once you complete the main story levels you unlock Rosalina and her Tanooki Suit is slightly different enough that I found it so much cuter (and I just loved playing as Rosalina too) so I always loved/love playing as her with the Tanooki Suit all the time in the game (even levels where you should probably use other powers lmao)..

so whenever I would lose the Tanooki Suit playing other levels I would always come back and replay this level, "Bob-ombs Below" because it gives you two of the Tanooki Leaves (so I would have one to use and one to hold as a backup)

it's such a simple silly thing, but this specific process I would go through Constantly while playing 3D World has always stuck with me in the back of my mind, from all those years ago playing 3D World on the Wii U, to playing it on the Switch recently. So for this new design for Stranger, I took inspiration from the design of Rosalina's Tanooki Suit (this Tanooki Suit design has always stuck with me since I first saw it anyway, it's what inspired Kirb's design, and my own Sona's too!) but I also wanted to take inspiration from the level itself that gave me that Tanooki Suit that I love so much (which is all about Bob-ombs!)

have spent what feels like one hundred billiard years redesigning Stranger again and again and Again from robot to gingerbread to teddy bear costume to panda all over the place but I've finally found a design I'm really proud and happy and satisfied with,, I have Arts and Crafts group tomorrow (we are doing something with glass jars I think) and my mum wants us to go out afterwards shopping but once I have time I want to draw some more of New Design Stranger and colour them immediately so I can share with the world -> 🗺️
