We Tried Everything Before Asking for Help

Sometimes I feel that simply asking for help makes people see us as a burden. That thought hurts more than the hardship itself.

I fought with everything I had to stand on my own. I searched for work, hoping I could provide even the most basic necessities for my family without having to ask anyone for help. But despite every effort, it wasn't enough.

What hurts most is when people assume we're exaggerating or inventing our reality. We are not telling stories to earn sympathy. We are living them.

No words can truly describe what it means to watch your children grow up surrounded by fear, uncertainty, and loss. No photograph or headline can fully capture the weight of waking up each day wondering how you will feed your family or keep them safe.

Only those who have witnessed this reality with their own eyes can truly understand it. We never wanted to depend on the kindness of others. We wanted dignity, stability, and the chance to build our lives with our own hands.

Asking for help is not a choice we make lightly. It is what remains when every other door has closed. If you choose to stand with us, you are not encouraging dependence you are helping a family survive until they have the chance to stand on their own again.
