Even worse, some people were guilty since Maya is missing since December of 2025, truth is, Maya was last seen in Central Park helping little kids, as days turned into weeks then they turned into months, Agent Clementine Johnson found Maya, her location was literal Italy, eventually they rescued her and now she’s on her way to the compound

Serena was sprawled across one of the common room couches with a mug of coffee she hadn't touched in twenty minutes, pretending to read something on her tablet when CARLOS's voice cut through the room.

"Incoming Quinjet. ETA: two minutes."

The tablet hit the couch beside her before she was already halfway to the hangar. She didn't care that she'd almost slipped on the polished floor.

"...Maya?"

the playgirl genius was quietly waiting for landing, literally, jet lag is no joke

"...Took you long enough," she muttered, though there wasn't an ounce of annoyance behind it.

as the quinjet landed, Maya stepped out of there her hair slightly longer than before

She didn't even wait for a reply before closing the distance and pulling Maya into a tight hug.

"...Don't ever disappear for seven months again, idiot." Her voice came out muffled against Maya's shoulder. "I already used up all my sarcastic comments worrying about you."

"What?" She asked confused, but quickly saw the decan standing in the corner, with a concerned look on her face. Addeline quickly stood up and followed the woman out of the room, ignoring the whispers of her classmates; 'She probably got in trouble-' 'another detention for her'

Once she stood out the classroom, but decan finally spoke.

"they found her."

Three words. And Addeline knew exactly who they were about. Without another word she practically sprinted through the hallway, straight for the exit.

He knew it was no use calling her, but he could wait for her. What had she been doing in Italy, anyway? And why didn't she tell him?

the playgirl genius was in the car next to agent Clementine johnson, her eyes gazing to the tinted car window, the truth? Maya was taken from behind, prolly hydra’s doing since she’s a stark and all

Damn composure. What did it matter anyway? Riley ran out of the driveway as Maya pulled up, turning up his hearing aid even though he knew it would only improve his hearing slightly, calling her name.
