Taylor Swift Song Sorter Night!

rules and general info: instead of doing 11 different album sorters i thought it would be fun to do the taylor swift album sorter first and then based on your results only do the song sorters for the albums that come in first and last. (please don’t be too mean to my babygirl debut 😔 i know she’s going to be catching strays so i apologize to any debut fans in advance.) this is supposed to be fun so don’t stress too much! please be respectful of other people’s results (but light hearted teasing between friends is allowed of course).

the date: friday april 18th at 7pm est. feel free to schedule your posts in advance or post them whenever it’s convenient. ideally this will be an all day event so you can check the tag whenever you’re free that day or the following day to see other people’s results.

Every new Taylor Swift album cycle, there is always those people who start making Hunger Games edits that I can't handle because they're heartbreaking.

People making Eldest Daughter and Katniss edits are rude for that.

it always takes me a while to chew on an album, but i do get a giggle meanwhile over Discourse™️. (this is not about people capable of nuanced critique, btw.) why does every work need to be compared to every other work in that artist’s repetoire? clearly, if she made that work before, the capacity is within her to make it. if she's doing something different, there is a reason why. every piece of work has a point. you can say you prefer a different vibe and just... go listen to that. no one is holding you at gunpoint and making you listen this particular album?

Taylor Swift’s AMC Release Party is an easily accessible fandom event. Most theaters charge under $20, so Swifties can celebrate the new release together in safe locations all around the country. She encouraged singing and dancing, meeting up with friends, etc.

It’s not a cash grab, it’s community organization.

I’m already seeing haters (mostly men, of course) shouting “cash grab” because they see no value in anything not marketed specifically to them. No one is forcing Taylor Swift fans to buy anything. She is not holding life sustaining needs like affordable food, housing, medical care, and clean water hostage with capitalist red tape.

That would be the US Government.
