Clark?" The flash of green Lex is met with isn't quite what he expects. There's a spark there—a warmth he can't place. "What?"
Clark cocks his head, eyebrows pinching as if confused by the question, but after a moment he blinks the expression away. To Lex's relief and detriment, a fond smile appears in its place. "I'm just glad you found me. That's all."
The lurch in Lex's stomach is reminiscent of a free fall. "Well, yeah—who knows what you would have done wandering around Smallville with no memory."
Rolling his eyes, Clark sits on the far corner of the bed. Safely out of reach. "No, I mean—I'm glad it was you who found me." He clears his throat, eyes lowering to where he's picking at his fingernails. "It brought us back together, you know? And I'm grateful for that."
Lex isn't sure there is any air left in the room, but he manages a hushed, "Me too, Clark."
"I just wish me hurting you wasn't a part of us getting here," Clark admits at the same volume.
"Eh, it was worth it."
Lex says it without thinking, without really meaning to.
It may be the most truthful sentence he's spoken aloud in his entire life.

Summary:
Lex refuses to acknowledge the stinging in is eyes, to show that level of weakness. How affected he is by the realization that Clark doesn't know him. He wrestles with the hollow ache threatening to swallow him whole until it submits, forcing it into the ancient lead box in his mind and locking it tight.
He sends the stranger wearing Clark's face a lopsided smile. "I'm a friend."
Clark blinks once. "You can take me to the sign?"
Lex turns away again, not trusting his expression as he says, "What are friends for?"

You may be wondering how I got into this situation. That's good. Keep wondering. If you pay close attention to the rest of this movie and employ your critical thinking skills, you may find that the answer unfolds as it goes along. Sometimes it's good not to know yet, and to wonder. Sometimes that's the entire point.

She's cut off my a section of Lil Nas X's song Montero, specifically the line "... Me in the the mornin', i'll be on...". As the line plays, she looks to the side down, as if something nearby is falling. The music fades in, gets louder, and fades back out. She pauses after it fades all the way out.
and while we’re at it, fuck this idea that ONE ACCOUNT has to belong uniquely to ONE PERSON. This is the same thing these silicon valley fucks want; their vision of the future where everyone has a unique biometric ID code implanted in their body is the ultimate extension of Netflix’s “no password sharing” policy. You want to use your friend’s car? Sorry, you can’t, you need to be an authorized user. Your mother wants to let you look something up on her OED account? Too bad! That’s only for her! The concept of perfect market efficiency gives them greedy little money bag eyes.
If I pay money to have a newspaper sent to my house, they don’t charge me extra when I show it to my dad. This password sharing thing isn’t just a Netflix problem; don’t be surprised if it shows up elsewhere in other forms. Stamp this idea out now or we’ll be stuck with it.
This is by far the most popular post I have and I have to say: good, I’m right. Password sharing and ID verification are going to kill the internet. not oooh in 50 years. in like 5 more.

Let's not beat around the bush: Children's author JK Rowling sexually harassed someone. In some jurisdictions, this would count as sexual abuse. JK Rowling has committed a sex crime against a woman and fell back on the old rape apologist standby of "she was asking for it".
