My truest opinion about NWOS is that I think its narrative is actually going to be ok within the context of the game, but upon review of it on a larger Level 5 perspective- that it is inevitably going to come off as horribly tone deaf

#I don’t think layton and crew are going to turn to the camera and say that they love ai or anything #and I think the plot details we do know would make for a good story #it’s just . again when you look at LVL5 in the context of NWOS it’s just going to sour it #but that is just my thoughts #gens musings

At this stage she still likes to spontaneously combust.

I have called upon the knowledge and tools I’ve gained from my plastic crack addiction of 3 years to make this. 100% of the sculpt was made by your’s truly with blender and constantly nagging a friend for his 3D printer. The joints are a bunch of model kit leftovers and some 3rd party manufactured Revoltech style joints.

I spent MONTHS making sure that this thing’s articulation had nothing less than would be expected from a Yamaguchi figure. Even bought a 30$ bootleg to study before sculpting started to figure out how Revoltech’s joints worked.

She ended up dwarfing it in size which was not on purpose but is still a well welcomed surprise.

As stated before- she is prone to spontaneous combustion. Lots of joints too loose while others too stiff ( which is a huge pain in combination with loose joints) definitely gotta stiffen her up. Here's the CURRENT checklist of things that's probably gonna be added on to before I start preping for paint and other accessories.

Plan on using neoprene as a material for her “skirt” so as not to hinder articulation. Also planning on dyeing the joints instead of painting them so as not to worry about scratching. Anyway

So a pookie of mine (@lili-divine-artist) got me back into professor layton. And the fellas that keep catching my eye, despite the fact I kinda dont like them, is Desmond and Descole. Desmond is so odd looking that he turns out fun to draw. Descole just makes me think of tuxedo mask and i like the flourish he has.
