Unfortunately because of how busy I’ve been this spring and with artfight coming up soon, I probably won’t have time to properly finish this particular drawing, so I wanted to share what I had so far. I finished the lineart for the entire sketch dump, coloured in another ass-kicked Clive, and changed the colour of the bruises a bit on the first one because they felt a bit too purple like they were entering a healing stage when they’d still be pretty raw, considering he is still, at this point in the story, getting his shit thoroughly kicked in. I wrote out a prototype scene for this that is very rough, but I wanted to share a few lines below. Someday I’ll actually write the entire story and not just scenes from halfway through the book lmao
I also wanted to share some previews of other drawings I’ve been working on as well. One is another Clive sketch dump focusing on morning themes because all I ever draw this man in is a suit and I wanted to practice something more casual. The other is also P3301 related but I’m not going in depth on that just yet sorry lol

‘You… You’re no father.’
For some reason this comment annoyed more than surprised, enough to supply me with a bit more energy. I straightened up as best I could and stared into his shrouded face.
‘I am. And I’d like to return home before I worry my daughter with my absence.’
He leaned in closer and I stared back an adrenaline-laced challenge.
‘A man’s son is dead while his murderer is chosen to foster his replacement.’ He said this slowly, almost languid, as if darkly admiring each millisecond he allowed the words to hang in the air like an infinitely large weight swaying just above my head from a single thread of rope. ‘Why.’ And then, his fist, a mere blur, impacted with the back of the chair before I could even flinch, my defiant glare faltering in alarm. ‘WHY.’
