Sterling stared back at Bill with nearly emotionless eyes, looking just on the verge of exhausted. “Yeah. Air is usually a good thing.” He frowned a little, unsure what was going on at that moment. “No, it’s okay. I’m fine.”
Bill was quite confused by the signs and vibes he was getting from Sterling. “I don’t think you’re acting too convincing, mate. What’s wrong?”

Sterling sat right on the edge of the shoreline, his legs curled up and pressed tight to his chest. The way he hugged himself made the short boy look even smaller and smaller by the moment. His insides felt some mixed up, a potluck of pain and confusion. All it meant, in the most simple terms, was that Sterling was sad. Sterling thought he heard something behind him, so he turned to sneak a peak. He shifted in his place. “Hi. What are you doing out here?”
“Sterling..hey.” Bill looked around, nervous to be spotted with his former snogging partner. “Just.. needed some fresh air, y’know?” he laughed quietly, sitting down next to the brown haired male. “You okay there? I know we haven’t erm exactly talked in awhile but you can talk to me if you’d like.”

“oh, billy boy. there’s only so much i —- the god of love, can do for someone like you.” he sighed dramatically before nudging his friend teasingly. “it’s all about confidence. fake it till you make it. plus, the people here are SUCKERS for us english speakers. right? you can’t resist me even if you tried. ah, classic bill weasley. i haven’t thought about school even when i’m at school. i think the last time i did was back in october? maybe november.”
“You know me, confidence isn’t my strongest suit.” the ginger haired boy shrugged, the dimples in his cheeks showing as he smiled. “I didn’t think people were so into English speakers, I thought it was always us English speakers fascinated over the other languages. I couldn’t resist you? Mate, not everyone spends every second wanting to shag ya, even if that’s hard for you to process. -Well I have to think about school especially with being a prefect and having a mother like mine. Molly Weasley is quite the firecracker and I really would not want to get that woman mad.”

“I’ve never heard of getting tired based off pure excitement.” the redheaded boy added. “I don’t think it’s really that possible but what do I know?”

Bill followed close behind, nodding in agreement. “It’s definitely the right weather too. Italy seems much hotter than Hogwarts- or maybe it’s just me.”

“the gondola from what i’ve heard. and i mean i hope so too, it’s definitely what i would consider a once in a lifetime trip especially since i get to be here with all my friends. so i’d say i’m happy about it.”

“Bodies... crammed, uh yeah.” Bill replied awkwardly, the never ending image of the two of them kissing passionately not leaving his head. He had made out with Sterling in the past and he was pretty in denial about his sexuality at this point- not sure what that meant for him.
