Ohw – A mom on a visit? Yikes. I would try everything to not make her come over here, really. If you need someone to confirm your so called reasons to not come here, i’ll be right here.
Er -- yeah. Trying to convince the woman to stay home is proven to be pretty difficult. I may need all the help I can get.
briargrey:
Hm, maybe just let her watch the show. I think that’s bad enough for her not wanting to come over here, I mean, sex everywhere, dirt everywhere, dumb people everywhere. That should be reason enough not to,right?
See, I don’t know whether I want to expose her to all that or not. Could go either way, really. Either she’ll get the hint and never try to invite herself here again, or I’ll never live it down with her trying to convince me to get back to real life and ditch this place.
hfsgrazia:
Running a business? Ness, you never told me about it. What have you been up to? Why don’t I know about this? I feel like a bad bad friend. Damn, it’s almost your birthday? We’ve got to celebrate it. I’m talking like a huge birthday bash for the cutest birthday girl around. Some amazing food, alcohol and music. Sounds fun right? Oh wait – your mom is coming here. Wow. How about you bring her to a hotel and then.. just… Fuck this is hard.
Ah, it’s nothing honestly. I’m hardly ever there so I don’t have the right to brag, really. I’ve got a shop in New York with a mate of mine and we just launched our summer line, which was quite successful, which was great news to end the week on. I was thinking more on the scale of a little get together with a few friends and cocktails, but a party would be sick too. I sound proper old already... Yeah, you see my dilemma? I thought about a hotel, that would be good, but then again she hates the idea of spending money like that, and she would never let me pay for it myself. Can never win with that woman.
zayngtg:
I was about to go to New York and you appear. What a sign. Well, I’m glad to see you here again. Things were getting a bit boring without you. Anyway, now that you’re back, we can do some fun stuff. Wait – your mom is coming? Why the hell would she want to come to a shit place like the Valleys?
Oh, I doubt that. My absence couldn’t possibly make such a difference, I think you’re just inflating my ego now. Either way, absolutely yes we can get into all that fun stuff. I have decided to dedicate this week to fun, all considering I’ll be turning 21 next weekend. Is it childish that I still bother to acknowledge a countdown like that? That’s exactly what I told her --.. she said somethin’ about getting a good look at the place I’ve been wasting my time at when I could be with her, or better yet in the city with work.
tfwblair:
i wish i could say i caught half of that, but i automatically tune out when there’s a little bit of asap playing in the background. i’m not usually this rude, i promise. well, not when i’m unprovoked, at least. mum, divergence plan – am i on the right track?
You caught the gist, which I reckon is all that really matters. No worries though, I tend to ramble, especially when I’m working with little to no sleep, and may have had a bit too much of that wine they served on the plane. But yes, mum divergence plan, that’s the current issue at hand.
chloemaynard:
Yikes, my mum does the same. Just show her an episode of the show and I’m sure she’ll never ask to come here again.
I thought of that, honestly, but ‘m not sure if I even want her to sit through an episode to catch a glimpse of what I’m living in. She might very well try and get me to leave. She’s already weary about me bein’ here with my work being across the ocean.
liampayne-valleys:
Aw, why don’t you want her to come? I’m sure everyone could try to be on their best behavior while she’s here.
This house isn’t exactly the type of place I’d want my mum staying in, and I’m not going to expect anything more from anyone here if she were to come up. Hopefully I can talk her out of it, that’d probably be my best bet to keep from exposing her to this place.
addisonbridges:
Ooh, was it fun though? Don’t know about you, but I love airplanes. Hmm, maybe tell there’s no more space? Or maybe get her a hotel room if she really set on coming.
There was definitely some fun thrown into the mix, yeah. I’m not the biggest fan of planes, most likely ‘cause I’m on ‘em so much, but I really can’t complain too much. I’m still holding onto the hope that I can convince her to stay back and let me come to her, it’d save loads of trouble on both of us.
