God I'm a sucker for characters who are so utterly loyal to someone that they're completely unhinged. Characters who have no moral compass except their overwhelming devotion to whoever they've chosen to listen to. That's the good shit

On my annual reread of mtmte and wow I forgot how dark it was

The more I reread mtmte, the more I realize how chromedome truly is one of the most morally grey characters in the entire series. And he HEAVILY skews towards more morally black on the scale. He's so interesting I want to personally pick him apart. He commits atrocities he knows is wrong but then tries to play the moral high ground anyways over other characters like prowl ?? And speaking of prowl that whole mindwiping incident and what he did to him is very ... interesting. Like this is a gross oversimplification but he's a very selfish character in his motivations and his morality literally consists of his own self preservation and rewind. But he's also rlly juxtaposing because he's also a severe people pleaser with a complex and the whole things just rlly fascinating to get into. Anyways JRO put something in this lanky wifeguy robot bc I could write pages about him.

Can we all take a step back and appreciate for a moment just how fucking humiliating it is tagging things “simpatico” and “Megarod” and such. And “CDRW” isn’t even pronounceable— it’s so lame. And “cygate” sounds like gamergate. “Megop”sounds like either you’re getting a nasty operation or you’re in the bootlicking gang military. The ship names in this fandom suck so hard man…. The only one I’ll accept is starbee and even that sounds like a little kid’s imaginary friend…
