happy pride month to al jourgensen in jackie o drag
there are not enough words in any language to express how meaningless your approval is to me <3
I really want you guys to experience the forgotten Ferris Bueller sitcom show with possibly the worst opening music I've ever heard.
ill never understand why assimilationist queers constantly want to ruin the beautiful freakishness of authentic queer culture with loser sanitized pop music and the lame, clean rupaulification of drag. you are so fucking boring. youre a chained dog in the backyard that thinks you rule the house with an iron fist. youre a pompous suburban house cat. clinging to heteronormativity: the rainbow version isnt going to save you. "queer culture is buyiong this brand and listening to this generic millionaire popstar" your self-enforced chains and fear are not my fucking problem. and if you think this post isnt about you, take a second to reflect and be really sure. happy fucking pride.
poll do-over because i overestimated how many people actually know what harsh noise is (read the link before you vote), harsh noise as in the specific artistic/anti-music movement, not just any electronic music that is abrasive or mechanical
do you enjoy and listen to harsh noise?
yes
no
the change from AD to CE feels really emblematic of how surface-level and meaningless the supposed secularization of the western world is
Common Era is definitely preferable over Anno Domini, if only because christ is no lord of mine, but it’s only less christianocentric in that it doesn’t overtly make reference to christ in its title. the benchmark is still the same. you’re still measuring when the common era began using the (supposed) birth of christ, separating history into “the period before jesus” and “the period after jesus”. this conception of history is no less defined by christianity than it was before, except that now it’s easier to ignore because you’ve draped it in a “secular”, “modern” veneer and done nothing to actually unpack the ways in which western society intrinsically centers christianity.

Liberal adding "I just feel so bad for them" at the end of the most dehumanizing statement about homeless people so everyone knows they hate them in a very woke and compassionate way
How to hate the oppressed classes in an Obama-honoring way
ive made efforts to dial back my haterism in recent years but my god yall test me sometimes, im begging you to seek out artists with less than 20 million followers
gender essentialism is soooo funny bc it's like "this is what women are like" and you're like "I've met women and many of them, if not the majority, have not been like that" and it's like "well women SHOULD be like that" and you're like "why should women be like that" and its like "because that's what women are like"
