hi im jack rabbit/jackalope and this is my safe plushie blog.

im a 26 year old thing pretending to be human and i use they/them pronouns.

i might post my plushie friends here but i am shy. mainly i made this blog to connect with the plushie community on here and save pictures of plushies i wish to have in my life some day.

Plushie tip: If you want a scented plush but don't wanna use a scent disc from Build A Bear then get some fursuit spray. They come in many different scents and are perfectly safe for faux fur

OK tip from a semi-seasoned fursuiter incoming but you can keep faux fur in good condition for longer by using isopropyl alcohol sprays (like scented fursuit sprays) and brushing it with a slicker brush. However the catch is that you need your brush to have the metal-toothed bristles, and you also need to brush with the bristles pointing away from you. See below for visuals.

Of course, baths are mandatory at some point if it's a plush you use a lot but you can help keep it fresh and stay fluffy longer by spraying and brushing.

I combed out Alfie’s fur and he looks so handsome!!

I had no idea I’d be able to get it this nice again, but I found that using a metal flea comb works the best for detangling stuffed animal fur.
