It's my mom's birthday soon and idk what to get her (I'll only be able to gift it to her in May but regardless). Does anybody have suggestions on what I could crochet for my mother as a gift? I need it to be a little practical so that she uses it, but also I am mostly a complete beginner and I have limited amount of yarn. Maybe I should just draw her something idk.

i'd like to read more books this year, but i 100% don't have the space for more physical books, so i made an upgrade from my old (and now misplaced) kobo glo. i'm kind of in-love so far, especially with the annotation function
