Remember this: When you build a sandcastle or something and go "damn, this sandcastle looks like shit" remember: You built that sandcastle. You did so with your own appendages or appendage adjacents. Your sandcastle is automatically better than anything that AI could possibly pump out. Be proud of yourself for the effort and time you put in. Be proud of the fact that it's something you made. Everyone starts out bad at things. Keep going, and you'll improve.

(I know a certain sand-haired cyclops with a perfectionism problem who could certainly get some good out of reading this one.)

In honour of them getting together on my Tomodachi life island via this rough process:

Get into random fight -> Apologise to one another, which somehow makes Candy fall in love with Zenobia -> A while of crushing later, during which I have to prevent Candy from falling in love with a different witch couple's 1 month old child twice, Zenobia finally catches on -> "I have a nagging feeling that the pink creature likes me" and I see the option for "Confess your love to her" (Zenobia is currently at the "close friend" relationship level, no hint of a crush whatsoever) -> "Eh why not, I saved my game so if it goes badly I can just reset and pick the 'you'd make a lovely couple' option or something" -> She actually goes for it. And it works. Well. That was out of nowhere but I'm not gonna complain, those two are actually very cute together and it's kinda funny to imagine Zenobia comparing Candy to a "perfect sandcastle" and Candy not understanding a word of it because Zenobia has gotten started on mathematics and physics and how they contribute to the "perfect sandcastle".

New Exedra alt-universe event announced. Summer.

We know which Megucas are getting costumes (it's the holy quintet again. Wow, who could've foreseen that coming.) But alt-universes mean Witches get costumes too, or another Witch gets added. Who do you hope to see get a costume or join the roster?

I don't care that it's May. I'm still putting her and her dog in the spooky costume. Can't wait to see what this year's Witch event alt costumes will be!

(Also it took her Familiars forever to convince her to wear a Halloween costume and now she can't be bothered to change back. Any and all time spent swapping between clothes means less sandcastle building time and megucas could show up at any moment to put an abrupt end to her task...)

They got married on my Tomodachi Life island, so here they are (sorry for how rushed and incoherent it looks, I wanted to try a lineless style with flat colours but the lines still managed to take over parts... And also I suck at backgrounds. I wanted to do something where their Labyrinths were blending together but it just looks like crap.)

Not a Zenobia post. Just thought I'd share that I wasted at least half an hour of my life beating the Commoner's Horse in the Exedra tower with 4 off-elements and no Follow-up attackers on my first try in just under 13 turns with only one casualty right at the very end. I don't know why or how I did that. But I did. And I won... Somehow. Team for reference, Moemura was definitely doing a lot of the heavy lifting here.

(Also, would anyone be interested in my dumb and stupid AU idea where I turn MagiReco witches into dogs and distribute them to the cast where they get up to regular witch/dog antics that mostly cause Suffering to every meguca around them? I've already got an idea for a 4-koma for the AU.)

Does anyone else find Zenobia's death animation in Magia Exedra kinda cute and endearing? It looks like she's giving you a little curtsy! You'd think that with her description referring to her as childish and her encounter animation having her crush a sandcastle in fury, her defeat animation would showcase more of that side of her by having her lash out/panic/cry/etc, but she instead takes it rather well! How polite!

I made Witch miis in the new Tomodachi Life game

I made Zenobia (because of course I did), Gertrud (she's iconic) and Candy (I already had a mii to use as a template for her on my Switch)

Unfortunately Zenobia and Gertrud are stuck on a save file where I accepted the clothing store quest and thereby welded their doors shut. I can't believe that I let myself torment my The Creature and the other one like that... At least Candy is on a save file where she's still free (and in default clothes).

Zenobia:  The Witch of Sandboxes. Her nature is Immersion. This Witch has strong preferences and never compromises. She is trying to build an acceptable sandcastle, but she can never satisfy herself. She has destroyed and rebuilt her castles so many times she doesn’t even remember what she wanted to create in the first place. When she does manage to make a nice castle, she feels much better for a while, but ends up destroying it again. She looks like a young lady, but acts like a little child. If she is interrupted when she is playing with her sand, she cries and goes on a rampage.
