I'll be honest I'd like people to care a little more about what happens to me when it happens to me rather than what will potentially happen to the herd later. The hypothetical future herd is centred in discussions of what's currently happening to my community and it sucks. We need to stop transmisogyny and transphobia because it's bad, not because "later it will be the queers who actually matter who get it"
