*Heād been closing up one of the display cases when the door flew open violently. Effectively scaring the unholy shit out of Matthew and making him drop the case in his hands. The man looks down with barely restrained panic and back up quickly, trying to act cool as he gathers the object up and coughs in his sleeve.*

*Surprise days off were always a rare but welcome treat to Calvin, it gave him a chance to focus on the important things in his life. Like all of his pets, and his tumblr, oh and he needed to update his vine and send out some snapchats to his mom and sisterā¦. The wingull smiles contently as he walks down the street, his bag filled with treats for his beautiful precious furry angels. Of course along the way he had chosen to take those snapchats, enthusiastically adding captions with little care to the outside world. Which as anyone would know is a horrible idea and the number one leading cause to accidents and/or shenanigans.*
Dai smiled pretty proudly to herself, looking back at the footage she had caught today! She had been helping out a buddy with a small film he was doing for classā¦now all she had to do was go back and edit it and send it to him, shouldnt have taken too long. ā Manā¦I could probably do a lot more if I had a better camera with more featuresā¦maybe I can get one for my birthdayā¦ā she said, not paying too much attention herself to what was going on. *As soon as she invited him in, his composure slipped just a fraction. Honestly he was fairly surprised sheād agreed, he hadnāt really planned out much past showing up like some super bad ass and hoping she remembered him. His stance shifts to something a bit more awkward but he enters none the less, mumbling his thanks while closing the door swiftly with his tail.
From there it was really all down hill, he hadnāt been expecting the odd choice in furniture, it reminded him of a terrifying fairy type bar heād been to back home. So many doiliesā¦., of course then he saw Pan, and Johnny couldnāt resist making his way over to squat in front of the cat. His eyes alive with childish joy, he freaking loved cats, he strokes a finger gently down the bridge of Panās nose, calling out in a much more enthused voice.*
You got a cat! Heās such a cutie, is Pan short for anything?
There was a shuffling in the background, and Giselle cracked the door to keep talking to him.
"Sort of! I named him after Peter Pan, but, ah, someone recently asked if it was short for pancakeā¦ I call him Pancake every once in a while now, hah." She grinned, brushing out her hair.
Pan, meanwhile, chirped and listed his head, sniffing at Johnny before lowering his head again, allowing pets to commence.
"Pan, Panpan, Peter, Pancake, Pannersā¦ Heās gathered a lot of nicknames," she said, joining him as she slid in a new set of earrings. She wore a fresh new dress, and her makeup and perfume were touched up. She definitely didnāt look like the uncomfortable pre-teen Johnny had known, anymore. "So, umā¦" Her heels clicked on the wooden floors as she gathered up her coat and purse. "What sort of things did you want to see? Iām, ah, a bit of a wallflower, I donāt do much partying or get into the nightlife, but I can show you some nice grocery shops and bookstoresā¦ the park, or, umā¦" She listed things off on her fingers, slowly growing more red as she stared at her hand and realized just how boring she was.

W e l l, I don't have an absolute favorite but I can say The Great Gatsby is pretty high on my list because it's just so /sad./ And to me, a man chasing the shadows of the past in a desperate attempt to win back a selfish woman who can't even fully give herself to him and he can't accept that is more of a fucking tragedy that i can relate to than say romeo and juliet lkfaldSDFLH.
