Sharing Dard is an online portal to share our emotional problems and real life experience to solve problems. Anyone can share their experience and problems in the portal, even as an anonymous user. Starting from the city of Mumbai, the portal now has users all over the world. The website now says that its 20% of users are from Navi Mumbai. Especially youths from the city are interested in sharing their experiences and solving emotional problems with the help of advisors and psychologists. The online counselling portal has created a much comfortable stage, as the users are able to hide their identity.
The online initiative was aimed at achieving a noble cause of providing every single human being who has emotional turmoil, anxiety, stress, depression etc. a person who could not only listen but also understand him. The portal provides Advisors, two eminent Psychologists and Psychotherapists Dr. Kanan Khatau Chikal & Mrs. Jasmine Khattar having over 30 years of experience in the field of Psychology.
Sumant Gajbhiye, a founder of the website, says “we already have almost 25000 users in our portal of which 20% are from Navi Mumbai. We got a great response from the residents of Navi Mumbai. Many people from the region, especially youth is taking advantage of the portal. Many youths in the city is facing emotional and psychological problems, which are often personal or secret. The portal is committed to keep their identity hidden and solve their problems. The usage of site is completely free”

We had a user from Mumbai who was always upbeat, positive and used to inspire everyone at SharingDard. On questioning by a fellow user that how does he manage to stay positive, the answer revealed the biggest burden of his life? He said “I lost my wife to Cancer 3 years ago and she was a really positive person and wished that I live a positive life after her”. The man who lost his wife to cancer helped the lady who had lost her husband, to come to terms with her grief. This was truly a heartwarming story of how people who have had similar experiences connect and can learn from each other’s experiences.
