26-year-old Jamarion Robinson’s grandmother Beverly Nixon said her grandson was bipolar and schizophrenic. Still got shot 76 (!!!) times. Would a white person get the same treatment?

Omg this kid doesn’t deserve 20 years in prison for protecting his own mother! This is fucking ridiculous. It was definitely a defense. He’s 13 years now, just imagine how traumatized he must be after watching his mother getting sexually abused and brutally beaten by a stranger? I am sure, if the boy was white American he would be carried carefully out of the house and would be given probation. That’s how white privilege works all around the world.

Hey guys I found a kitten in a Safeway parking lot and he needs an xray and has an infected wound. I’ll post more updates later but he’s with the doctor right now.

We took financial responsibility for the kitten while we were there (~11 p.m. June 19, 2017). We had to pay $1,347 up front. Luckily 2 other people there gave us cash donations totaling $150.

I got a call at 12:04 a.m. with an update: the kitten has a clean break in their rear femur. It’s too bad for a splint/cast. That’s the injury that’s infected.

They’re getting a surgeon consult tomorrow (technically later today, June 20) to see if a bone pin or an amputation would be better for our kitten. The guesstimate of the vet helping us is we’re looking at $4-5k (4,000 to 5,000 USD).

We’ll be updating this as we go, but as I’m going to bed we have $1,347/?,??? paid, $150 of it raised (cash).
