Firebrand has a disease that makes his horn grow rapidly. Like goat horns his horn is getting dangerously close to killing him by digging into his skin and vital organs.

"Hello-? I was summoned here.."
A familiar tall, formally & achromatically dressed deity stands in the distance, calling out to the violet dove deity. He has his briefcase in his grasp, holding it infront of him with both gloved hands.

The deity came out from behind a curtain. His metal heels clicking against the polished floors.
The deity looked…extremely different. Dressed in cleaner and majestic robes, hair now long and flowing, wings and tail preened and well kept and a halo blocking half his face the shape of The Spawn symbol.
His horn was bigger and more pointed and he had metal supports wrapped around his legs.
“Ah. It’s been a while. Well…for me at least.”
He looked... much better, to say the least. The stitched & broken deity scanned him up & down, glad that he wasn't as wilted & withered as he was before. He was significantly more healthy.
"It has been awhile, I apologize for not checking in beforehand... I am rather busy."
He extended out a gloved hand, letting out a noise of content. If he had a mouth, he would be smiling. But he unfortunately didn't have one.
"Have things been going well for you? I would hope so..."
“It’s…alright. War and all.”
War? Thats new. He got closer, letting the curtain door fall behind him. Black feathers seemed to fall out of that area…
“It is good to see you. Seeing the one who saved your life really brings up a mood…without you, someone would have found me dead. Laid in my garden of my old temple the next day.
"War? Well I suppose that can be understood & rather relatable... although I'd say my issues haven't escalated that much. Although if the route Darkheart continues it could be..."
He sighs after that last part, following & shaking his head. Their relationship was... interesting. He didn't say anything more or elaborate on that part, it must've been something more personal.
He chuckles, rubbing the back of his stitched neck with his free hand, sheepish.
"Well... it's just my job, really. No need to give me anymore credit or praise- I couldn't let you die. It would be going against my duty as a doctor, & my morals..."
“The Spawn had taken the throne and now the rest of the Inpherno is at threat. Doesn’t help that it released the one demon that hates me the most from his eternal prison.”
“I had to seal Ghostwalker away. He was sadly too far gone…went insane from the Runes Book. That sentient book is enough on my plate.”
“And speaking of you being a doctor…I would hate to ask for help, although the situation is getting dire.”
He listens attentively, pondering & taking in the information given to him. Hm... he always had a bad feeling about that alternate of himself- although he couldn't particularly say much on the Spawn.
"Sentient book? Reminds me of Brigand's tome.. but that is way out of my reach, not like I'm interested in eternal & never-ending knowledge such as that... it would drive me mad."
He perks up. He needs his assistance? He can do that!
"I would be able to assist... I'm more then just my medicine & healing aswell, so I could server more purpose. Although I am rather occupied with my own issues, but I could try to accommodate that in my schedule."
He seemed so desperate & so insistent on proving his worth, although he was already... more then worthy, more then useful. It was kinda sad to see him insist like he was being doubted, he was used to being belittled & doubted- it was a habit.
“Do not force yourself. I do not want you to get overwhelmed”
He brings up a hand to wave it off. The glowing of the halo seems to get a bit darker. He looked nervous. He didn’t want to bother Ghostwalker with their issues.
“…I can’t get my brother to eat. He refuses to take that mask off and if anyone touches it he will attack unless it’s me. He will just growl at me and yank away”
“I don’t know if there is a different way I can get him to eat in a medical sense? I took his mask off once but he almost bit me when I tried to force food down his throat.”
His wing fluttered a bit.
“He- he turned into my old self in a sense. Lost everything, no purpose left. He thinks Sword is dead, Darkheart used him as a toy he could just have fun killing over and over again, and The Spawn abandoned him.”
“He was wrongfully called a monster and banished for something he couldn’t control. If you have…anything that could help I would be greatly appreciative and will owe you.”
“And- Firebrand…there’s a lot…I don’t want you overwhelmed”
That... was alot to take in. He could only imagine how terrible it was to experience it firsthand. Although he didn't know how he was feeling exactly, he knew that feeling.
He contemplated for a moment. It was the mask that was the problem. Venomshank could still eat... but not through there.
"I mean.. there is the alternative of getting him a feeding tube. Although I'm not exactly a surgeon, I could still perform such a thing. I could insert it through his nose all the way down through his esophagus, or I could simply insert one through his abdomen. Either of those ways would be effective..."
He rubbed his mustache as he pondered more, his arms folded in a way that really showed his deep contemplation. The thinking man.
"I feel like that would be the most effective way... I could restrain him & then put him under anesthesia. Do you know if he'd respond badly to anesthesia via gas? I could give him it through an IV..."
He was really sticking with this idea. He was pretty certain it would be effective..
“Well, he usually produces gas. Although after going through the Shadow Gardina…The creatures there just- it’s like they altered his chemistry. I don’t know how well he will react, but we can try. It’s the best option in my opinion. The less painful option please…”
His feathers flattened. Venomshank has been through enough pain already. He sighs, his one eye closing to think.
“I can restrain him, if you can get him knocked out then I think it will work.”
He shook his head, insisting that he could deal with him, insisting that he could restrain & deal with him. He didn't want to be a burden in any way.
"I'd suggest anesthesia via IV then, no struggle & its the most effective way, there is a little pinch with the needle going in, but I'm very skilled & experienced. So no worries, I'll handle it- you don't have to worry..."
"If you want to console him before or during the procedure though, I will not stop you. I think it would be good for him to be atleast somewhat comfortable, I can only do so much.."
“He may react harshly but whatever thee- I mean- you think is best…”
He turned around and opened the curtain again, motioning the other to follow him.
He nodded, agreeing & thanking the other. He was glad he wasn't being dictated & micromanaged- it was absolutely infuriating.
"Thank you, I can assure you that I won't harm him in any way. I wish nothing but the best for him..."
Illumina nods and head into the room with the curtain door, motioning for Ghostwalker to follow.
The room was dark. Although it had enough light to see the figure on the ground. The room had black feathers scattered about and crows around the depressed deity.
His eyes and tears glowed in the dim room.
He was quiet, making sure he didn't startle the other deity, but he did observe his state. He... did not look well, he wouldn't deny, but he was a little intimidated of the idea of immediately going up to him & asking questions. He wanted to be gentle.
So he decided to wait, to stay & take in the information he could retrieve from merely just looking at him. He said nothing.
“Ven.”
Illumina walked up to the limp deity, kneeling down and lifting him up a bit.
“Stay calm ok?”
He looked over at Ghostwalker and motioned him to come over after making sure Venomshank wasn’t going to attack him out of the blue.
Ghostwalker silently moved over, squatting down a bit himself to properly look at the two deities, most notably the crow deity.
He waved, attempting to contort his lacking & stitched face into a friendly expression, to little avail. He was silently wishing that he still had a mouth, so he could smile...
Venomshank was unresponsive. He only turned his head a bit to look at Ghostwalker. He looked so out of it. Tears constantly falling from his eyes and hitting the floor with a sizzle.
The mask looked new. Instead of brown it was white and didn’t cover his entire face. He seemed so…docile.
Illumina was holding the top half of his brother close, gently moving what was left of the forty’s hair out of the way.
At least he wasn’t fluffy anymore so this wouldn’t be even harder.
He carefully inched closer, kneeling down towards the other deity. He wasn't necessarily afraid, he just didn't want to startle him.
He wanted to give him a consultation first. Morals, & all. He quietly cleared his throat.
"Hello... I was informed you were having difficulties eating? I- came up with a few solutions to that problem, I would like to talk it over with you first though."
Venomshank didn’t respond and just closed his eyes. Sighing out a low growl. He was exhausted. No matter how much he slept he just always woke up exhausted.
Probably since he hasn’t eaten or drank anything in a few days.
Illumina continues to gently pet Venomshank to try and keep him at ease.
“He hasn’t spoken since I brought him here”
He nods, letting out a soft 'ah' in realization. He felt stupid. Of course he wouldn't speak- why would he?
"I see... apologies. I did not know."
He fell silent for a moment as he pondered, debating on what he should say next.
“It’s alright.”
Illumina grabs Venomshank’s wrist and holds it out to the other deity. Venomshank was surprisingly clean and his feathers looked well kept. Must be Illumina’s doing.,..
“I think this must go quick. There is another I am very concerned about as well…”
He inspects the corvid deity's wrist, his gaze trialing all over his arm, gently getting a hold of him, moving some feathers away on the inside of his elbow. No veins visible. He moved up & down his arm, finally finding a vein in his hand.
"Venom, you are very clearly dehydrated.. I may have to give you some fluids before I actually start any parts of the procedure. Standards & all that..."
His briefcase, which was set to the side, he turned to for a moment, opening it. He had... alot of things! Including an entire collapsible IV pole & bags of medicine & fluids... how big was the inside of that thing? Who knew.
He let go of the corvid deity for a moment as he began setting everything up. He really was prepared, huh? He stumbled as he got up, knees wobbling a little. Was he okay-?
“Are you alright? Ghostwalker, please don’t do this if you are unwell…”
Illumina looked up, staring at Ghostwalker as he continued to try and keep the other calm. It was hard to see the dove’s expression under that halo but it was squinted in worry.
"I'm alright- just- I forgot my cane... again. I have weak joints, aswell as some chronic fatigue & arthritis- I don't know if I ever told you. I'm alright, though."
He nodded reassuringly, shakily sitting himself back down after hooking everything up, the tube connected to the bag not hooked up to an IV yet.
He pulled out the actual IV, a little tube & a needle- that would be inserted directly into a vein. He brought that along with some alcohol prep pads as he gently moved away some of Venomshank's feathers, trying to find that vein again...
Venomshank whined softly. He didn’t know what was happening but he couldn’t care less. It more of a confused whine than a hurt one.
“If you need anything I can check Firebrand’s room. He uses a cane as well since…well he can’t see like he used too…”
He shook his head, pushing up his little rounded pair of glasses.
"No, no... I use an offset handle cane, he would not have one of those if he was blind... that would be a folding cane. He doesn't have the kind I need, but thank you for the offer."
He looked back at the deity infront of him, opening an alcohol prep pad & wiping the exposed skin with it. He attempts to soothe the corvid deity, not wanting to startle him in any way.
"Alright... just hold still for a moment. I'm going to put an IV in, I will warn you, it'll pinch a bit.."
“You know more about…all these things. I suppose me not having a Ghostwalker does that…”
It was quite weird to see an Illumina without a Ghostwalker…
“How long will it take?”
"I suppose so... then again, I am considered an abnormality amongst versions of myself. I have yet to meet another version of myself who's also in the medical field."
He looks back down at the vein, making sure he's positioned right. He doesn't insert the needle yet.
"The IV or the procedure? The IV insertion won't take long at all... the procedure- I... am not sure."
"I- the whole thing I guess...I know this is a lot but...help is not around these lands. I didn't know what else to do..."
Illumina seemed nervous. Which made sense. He didn't want the others hurt. No matter how much Venomshank hurt or hated him he wanted him alive. Firebrand has always been there...
"Don't worry... I can take care of this. I understand this is alot on you. I understand..."
He nods reassuringly, facing him, attempting to look understanding & supportive. He longs to have his facial features again...
He turns back to the corvid deity, the needle & the tube ready to be inserted into his exposed vein. He soothes him, trying to make sure he won't flinch or freak out.
"I'm going to put the IV in now. It'll only hurt for a moment. In three... two..."
He pushes the needle in, pulling it out as soon as he's got the little tube in the vein. He hooks it up to the tube connected to the IV pole he had set up earlier, flicking a switch to push fluids into him.
He gets a little sticky patch & some gauze tape to hold the IV in place, working gently & efficiently, trying to coax the corvid deity whilst doing so.
"There. I'm going to give you some fluids first... I'll let you know when I give you anesthesia."
Venomshank tires pulling his wrist away but Illumina held it firm. The crow knew about potions, gases and all such. He knew what Ghostwalker was talking about. So he tried to pull away.
Even with a tank of a deity Venomshank was, he want as strong as he used to be....
Ghostwalker attempted to soothe him. He didn't want the corvid deity to be in distress, & he especially didn't want him jerking away. That would be bad.
He nodded to Illumina, thanking him for his efforts. He quickly finished putting the sticky patch & gauze tape on & around the IV, holding it in place. He then backed away, giving the deity some space.
Venomshank seemed to have calmed down a little, he didn't want to sleep...he hated going to sleep...the nightmares that await him...he doesn't want that!
"Do you mind if I turn on the lights Ven?"
The corvid was unresponsive for a moment before shaking his head. It was fine. From where the deity was sitting he lifted his hand, the lights turning on command.
Ghostwalker perked up slightly at the change in lighting. His vision was somewhat partial... so he was a little caught off guard. He pushed up his glasses.
"Oh. Fancy..."
He chuckled to himself, trying to atleast somewhat lighten the mood. He wanted Venomshank to be comfortable.
“I don’t use magic much when not in battle but…things a special case.”
Venomshank seemed to close his eyes and turned his head, not likely how bright everything was now. At least he was sitting still…
He nods in agreement, continuing on the conversation. It was nice to talk to someone like this.
"I can understand that... I refrain from using my abilities most of the time because they're very... draining. For myself & others around me. Not to mention, it would probably alarm most individuals.."
He does not elaborate, but he's willing to.
“The amount of mortals that have quivered in fear from seeing the new Illumina is…alarming…I guess it could be that I’m the king till Firebrand is back in shape…so I understand powers being…terrifying.”
“Although, the mortals want their king back.”
He nods, still trying to soothe & comfort the corvid deity. Still, it was nice to have a conversation with someone like this.
"I can understand that must be difficult for you... times change suddenly & rather quickly- that I've learned myself. I'm still trying to get used to things myself..."
"I suppose the changes are nice? Still, difficult to adjust to sometimes..."
“Life throws things at you. For me it was being reborn. I’m sure you have gone through your troubles as well…”
The undead deity seems to have fallen asleep or…near there. His feathers flattened and returned to a more relaxed form.
"I surely have...- many of times, unfortunately. Sometimes it does feel like the last 3000 years have been just a sequence of unfortunate events."
He shakes his head, pushing up his glasses so they don't fall off his face.
He does not let go of Venomshank, nor does he stop attempting to soothe him. He's worried the withdrawal may wake him up, & it's easier if he's already asleep.
Venomshank whined softly before closing his eyes fully. Some left over tears falling down before he finally rested.
Illumina looked worried. Venomshank falling asleep was a good and bad thing. Good thing he was getting rest…bad thing is the nightmares that followed.
“I hope things aren’t as bad for you. You seemed quite stressed..”

Illumina looked up, staring at Ghostwalker as he continued to try and keep the other calm. It was hard to see the dove’s expression under that halo but it was squinted in worry.
"I'm alright- just- I forgot my cane... again. I have weak joints, aswell as some chronic fatigue & arthritis- I don't know if I ever told you. I'm alright, though."
He nodded reassuringly, shakily sitting himself back down after hooking everything up, the tube connected to the bag not hooked up to an IV yet.
He pulled out the actual IV, a little tube & a needle- that would be inserted directly into a vein. He brought that along with some alcohol prep pads as he gently moved away some of Venomshank's feathers, trying to find that vein again...
Venomshank whined softly. He didn’t know what was happening but he couldn’t care less. It more of a confused whine than a hurt one.
“If you need anything I can check Firebrand’s room. He uses a cane as well since…well he can’t see like he used too…”
He shook his head, pushing up his little rounded pair of glasses.
"No, no... I use an offset handle cane, he would not have one of those if he was blind... that would be a folding cane. He doesn't have the kind I need, but thank you for the offer."
He looked back at the deity infront of him, opening an alcohol prep pad & wiping the exposed skin with it. He attempts to soothe the corvid deity, not wanting to startle him in any way.
"Alright... just hold still for a moment. I'm going to put an IV in, I will warn you, it'll pinch a bit.."
“You know more about…all these things. I suppose me not having a Ghostwalker does that…”
It was quite weird to see an Illumina without a Ghostwalker…
“How long will it take?”
"I suppose so... then again, I am considered an abnormality amongst versions of myself. I have yet to meet another version of myself who's also in the medical field."
He looks back down at the vein, making sure he's positioned right. He doesn't insert the needle yet.
"The IV or the procedure? The IV insertion won't take long at all... the procedure- I... am not sure."
"I- the whole thing I guess...I know this is a lot but...help is not around these lands. I didn't know what else to do..."
Illumina seemed nervous. Which made sense. He didn't want the others hurt. No matter how much Venomshank hurt or hated him he wanted him alive. Firebrand has always been there...
"Don't worry... I can take care of this. I understand this is alot on you. I understand..."
He nods reassuringly, facing him, attempting to look understanding & supportive. He longs to have his facial features again...
He turns back to the corvid deity, the needle & the tube ready to be inserted into his exposed vein. He soothes him, trying to make sure he won't flinch or freak out.
"I'm going to put the IV in now. It'll only hurt for a moment. In three... two..."
He pushes the needle in, pulling it out as soon as he's got the little tube in the vein. He hooks it up to the tube connected to the IV pole he had set up earlier, flicking a switch to push fluids into him.
He gets a little sticky patch & some gauze tape to hold the IV in place, working gently & efficiently, trying to coax the corvid deity whilst doing so.
"There. I'm going to give you some fluids first... I'll let you know when I give you anesthesia."
Venomshank tires pulling his wrist away but Illumina held it firm. The crow knew about potions, gases and all such. He knew what Ghostwalker was talking about. So he tried to pull away.
Even with a tank of a deity Venomshank was, he want as strong as he used to be....
Ghostwalker attempted to soothe him. He didn't want the corvid deity to be in distress, & he especially didn't want him jerking away. That would be bad.
He nodded to Illumina, thanking him for his efforts. He quickly finished putting the sticky patch & gauze tape on & around the IV, holding it in place. He then backed away, giving the deity some space.
Venomshank seemed to have calmed down a little, he didn't want to sleep...he hated going to sleep...the nightmares that await him...he doesn't want that!
"Do you mind if I turn on the lights Ven?"
The corvid was unresponsive for a moment before shaking his head. It was fine. From where the deity was sitting he lifted his hand, the lights turning on command.
Ghostwalker perked up slightly at the change in lighting. His vision was somewhat partial... so he was a little caught off guard. He pushed up his glasses.
"Oh. Fancy..."
He chuckled to himself, trying to atleast somewhat lighten the mood. He wanted Venomshank to be comfortable.
“I don’t use magic much when not in battle but…things a special case.”
Venomshank seemed to close his eyes and turned his head, not likely how bright everything was now. At least he was sitting still…
He nods in agreement, continuing on the conversation. It was nice to talk to someone like this.
"I can understand that... I refrain from using my abilities most of the time because they're very... draining. For myself & others around me. Not to mention, it would probably alarm most individuals.."
He does not elaborate, but he's willing to.
“The amount of mortals that have quivered in fear from seeing the new Illumina is…alarming…I guess it could be that I’m the king till Firebrand is back in shape…so I understand powers being…terrifying.”
“Although, the mortals want their king back.”
He nods, still trying to soothe & comfort the corvid deity. Still, it was nice to have a conversation with someone like this.
"I can understand that must be difficult for you... times change suddenly & rather quickly- that I've learned myself. I'm still trying to get used to things myself..."

The undead deity seems to have fallen asleep or…near there. His feathers flattened and returned to a more relaxed form.

A familiar tall, formally & achromatically dressed deity stands in the distance, calling out to the violet dove deity. He has his briefcase in his grasp, holding it infront of him with both gloved hands.

The deity came out from behind a curtain. His metal heels clicking against the polished floors.
The deity looked…extremely different. Dressed in cleaner and majestic robes, hair now long and flowing, wings and tail preened and well kept and a halo blocking half his face the shape of The Spawn symbol.
His horn was bigger and more pointed and he had metal supports wrapped around his legs.
“Ah. It’s been a while. Well…for me at least.”
He looked... much better, to say the least. The stitched & broken deity scanned him up & down, glad that he wasn't as wilted & withered as he was before. He was significantly more healthy.
"It has been awhile, I apologize for not checking in beforehand... I am rather busy."
He extended out a gloved hand, letting out a noise of content. If he had a mouth, he would be smiling. But he unfortunately didn't have one.
"Have things been going well for you? I would hope so..."
“It’s…alright. War and all.”
War? Thats new. He got closer, letting the curtain door fall behind him. Black feathers seemed to fall out of that area…
“It is good to see you. Seeing the one who saved your life really brings up a mood…without you, someone would have found me dead. Laid in my garden of my old temple the next day.
"War? Well I suppose that can be understood & rather relatable... although I'd say my issues haven't escalated that much. Although if the route Darkheart continues it could be..."
He sighs after that last part, following & shaking his head. Their relationship was... interesting. He didn't say anything more or elaborate on that part, it must've been something more personal.
He chuckles, rubbing the back of his stitched neck with his free hand, sheepish.
"Well... it's just my job, really. No need to give me anymore credit or praise- I couldn't let you die. It would be going against my duty as a doctor, & my morals..."

He listens attentively, pondering & taking in the information given to him. Hm... he always had a bad feeling about that alternate of himself- although he couldn't particularly say much on the Spawn.
"Sentient book? Reminds me of Brigand's tome.. but that is way out of my reach, not like I'm interested in eternal & never-ending knowledge such as that... it would drive me mad."
He perks up. He needs his assistance? He can do that!
"I would be able to assist... I'm more then just my medicine & healing aswell, so I could server more purpose. Although I am rather occupied with my own issues, but I could try to accommodate that in my schedule."
He seemed so desperate & so insistent on proving his worth, although he was already... more then worthy, more then useful. It was kinda sad to see him insist like he was being doubted, he was used to being belittled & doubted- it was a habit.

He brings up a hand to wave it off. The glowing of the halo seems to get a bit darker. He looked nervous. He didn’t want to bother Ghostwalker with their issues.
“…I can’t get my brother to eat. He refuses to take that mask off and if anyone touches it he will attack unless it’s me. He will just growl at me and yank away”
“I don’t know if there is a different way I can get him to eat in a medical sense? I took his mask off once but he almost bit me when I tried to force food down his throat.”
His wing fluttered a bit.
“He- he turned into my old self in a sense. Lost everything, no purpose left. He thinks Sword is dead, Darkheart used him as a toy he could just have fun killing over and over again, and The Spawn abandoned him.”
“He was wrongfully called a monster and banished for something he couldn’t control. If you have…anything that could help I would be greatly appreciative and will owe you.”
“And- Firebrand…there’s a lot…I don’t want you overwhelmed”
That... was alot to take in. He could only imagine how terrible it was to experience it firsthand. Although he didn't know how he was feeling exactly, he knew that feeling.
He contemplated for a moment. It was the mask that was the problem. Venomshank could still eat... but not through there.
"I mean.. there is the alternative of getting him a feeding tube. Although I'm not exactly a surgeon, I could still perform such a thing. I could insert it through his nose all the way down through his esophagus, or I could simply insert one through his abdomen. Either of those ways would be effective..."
He rubbed his mustache as he pondered more, his arms folded in a way that really showed his deep contemplation. The thinking man.
"I feel like that would be the most effective way... I could restrain him & then put him under anesthesia. Do you know if he'd respond badly to anesthesia via gas? I could give him it through an IV..."
He was really sticking with this idea. He was pretty certain it would be effective..
“Well, he usually produces gas. Although after going through the Shadow Gardina…The creatures there just- it’s like they altered his chemistry. I don’t know how well he will react, but we can try. It’s the best option in my opinion. The less painful option please…”
His feathers flattened. Venomshank has been through enough pain already. He sighs, his one eye closing to think.
“I can restrain him, if you can get him knocked out then I think it will work.”
He shook his head, insisting that he could deal with him, insisting that he could restrain & deal with him. He didn't want to be a burden in any way.
"I'd suggest anesthesia via IV then, no struggle & its the most effective way, there is a little pinch with the needle going in, but I'm very skilled & experienced. So no worries, I'll handle it- you don't have to worry..."
"If you want to console him before or during the procedure though, I will not stop you. I think it would be good for him to be atleast somewhat comfortable, I can only do so much.."
“He may react harshly but whatever thee- I mean- you think is best…”
He turned around and opened the curtain again, motioning the other to follow him.
He nodded, agreeing & thanking the other. He was glad he wasn't being dictated & micromanaged- it was absolutely infuriating.
"Thank you, I can assure you that I won't harm him in any way. I wish nothing but the best for him..."
Illumina nods and head into the room with the curtain door, motioning for Ghostwalker to follow.
The room was dark. Although it had enough light to see the figure on the ground. The room had black feathers scattered about and crows around the depressed deity.
His eyes and tears glowed in the dim room.
He was quiet, making sure he didn't startle the other deity, but he did observe his state. He... did not look well, he wouldn't deny, but he was a little intimidated of the idea of immediately going up to him & asking questions. He wanted to be gentle.
So he decided to wait, to stay & take in the information he could retrieve from merely just looking at him. He said nothing.
“Ven.”
Illumina walked up to the limp deity, kneeling down and lifting him up a bit.
“Stay calm ok?”
He looked over at Ghostwalker and motioned him to come over after making sure Venomshank wasn’t going to attack him out of the blue.
Ghostwalker silently moved over, squatting down a bit himself to properly look at the two deities, most notably the crow deity.
He waved, attempting to contort his lacking & stitched face into a friendly expression, to little avail. He was silently wishing that he still had a mouth, so he could smile...
Venomshank was unresponsive. He only turned his head a bit to look at Ghostwalker. He looked so out of it. Tears constantly falling from his eyes and hitting the floor with a sizzle.
The mask looked new. Instead of brown it was white and didn’t cover his entire face. He seemed so…docile.
Illumina was holding the top half of his brother close, gently moving what was left of the forty’s hair out of the way.
At least he wasn’t fluffy anymore so this wouldn’t be even harder.
He carefully inched closer, kneeling down towards the other deity. He wasn't necessarily afraid, he just didn't want to startle him.
He wanted to give him a consultation first. Morals, & all. He quietly cleared his throat.
"Hello... I was informed you were having difficulties eating? I- came up with a few solutions to that problem, I would like to talk it over with you first though."
Venomshank didn’t respond and just closed his eyes. Sighing out a low growl. He was exhausted. No matter how much he slept he just always woke up exhausted.
Probably since he hasn’t eaten or drank anything in a few days.
Illumina continues to gently pet Venomshank to try and keep him at ease.
“He hasn’t spoken since I brought him here”
He nods, letting out a soft 'ah' in realization. He felt stupid. Of course he wouldn't speak- why would he?
"I see... apologies. I did not know."
He fell silent for a moment as he pondered, debating on what he should say next.

Illumina grabs Venomshank’s wrist and holds it out to the other deity. Venomshank was surprisingly clean and his feathers looked well kept. Must be Illumina’s doing.,..
“I think this must go quick. There is another I am very concerned about as well…”
He inspects the corvid deity's wrist, his gaze trialing all over his arm, gently getting a hold of him, moving some feathers away on the inside of his elbow. No veins visible. He moved up & down his arm, finally finding a vein in his hand.
"Venom, you are very clearly dehydrated.. I may have to give you some fluids before I actually start any parts of the procedure. Standards & all that..."
His briefcase, which was set to the side, he turned to for a moment, opening it. He had... alot of things! Including an entire collapsible IV pole & bags of medicine & fluids... how big was the inside of that thing? Who knew.
He let go of the corvid deity for a moment as he began setting everything up. He really was prepared, huh? He stumbled as he got up, knees wobbling a little. Was he okay-?

Venomshank was unresponsive. He only turned his head a bit to look at Ghostwalker. He looked so out of it. Tears constantly falling from his eyes and hitting the floor with a sizzle.
The mask looked new. Instead of brown it was white and didn’t cover his entire face. He seemed so…docile.
Illumina was holding the top half of his brother close, gently moving what was left of the forty’s hair out of the way.
At least he wasn’t fluffy anymore so this wouldn’t be even harder.
He carefully inched closer, kneeling down towards the other deity. He wasn't necessarily afraid, he just didn't want to startle him.
He wanted to give him a consultation first. Morals, & all. He quietly cleared his throat.
"Hello... I was informed you were having difficulties eating? I- came up with a few solutions to that problem, I would like to talk it over with you first though."
Venomshank didn’t respond and just closed his eyes. Sighing out a low growl. He was exhausted. No matter how much he slept he just always woke up exhausted.
Probably since he hasn’t eaten or drank anything in a few days.
Illumina continues to gently pet Venomshank to try and keep him at ease.
“He hasn’t spoken since I brought him here”
He nods, letting out a soft 'ah' in realization. He felt stupid. Of course he wouldn't speak- why would he?
"I see... apologies. I did not know."
He fell silent for a moment as he pondered, debating on what he should say next.
“It’s alright.”
Illumina grabs Venomshank’s wrist and holds it out to the other deity. Venomshank was surprisingly clean and his feathers looked well kept. Must be Illumina’s doing.,..
“I think this must go quick. There is another I am very concerned about as well…”
He inspects the corvid deity's wrist, his gaze trialing all over his arm, gently getting a hold of him, moving some feathers away on the inside of his elbow. No veins visible. He moved up & down his arm, finally finding a vein in his hand.
"Venom, you are very clearly dehydrated.. I may have to give you some fluids before I actually start any parts of the procedure. Standards & all that..."
His briefcase, which was set to the side, he turned to for a moment, opening it. He had... alot of things! Including an entire collapsible IV pole & bags of medicine & fluids... how big was the inside of that thing? Who knew.
He let go of the corvid deity for a moment as he began setting everything up. He really was prepared, huh? He stumbled as he got up, knees wobbling a little. Was he okay-?
“Are you alright? Ghostwalker, please don’t do this if you are unwell…”
Illumina looked up, staring at Ghostwalker as he continued to try and keep the other calm. It was hard to see the dove’s expression under that halo but it was squinted in worry.
"I'm alright- just- I forgot my cane... again. I have weak joints, aswell as some chronic fatigue & arthritis- I don't know if I ever told you. I'm alright, though."
He nodded reassuringly, shakily sitting himself back down after hooking everything up, the tube connected to the bag not hooked up to an IV yet.
He pulled out the actual IV, a little tube & a needle- that would be inserted directly into a vein. He brought that along with some alcohol prep pads as he gently moved away some of Venomshank's feathers, trying to find that vein again...
Venomshank whined softly. He didn’t know what was happening but he couldn’t care less. It more of a confused whine than a hurt one.
“If you need anything I can check Firebrand’s room. He uses a cane as well since…well he can’t see like he used too…”
He shook his head, pushing up his little rounded pair of glasses.
"No, no... I use an offset handle cane, he would not have one of those if he was blind... that would be a folding cane. He doesn't have the kind I need, but thank you for the offer."
He looked back at the deity infront of him, opening an alcohol prep pad & wiping the exposed skin with it. He attempts to soothe the corvid deity, not wanting to startle him in any way.
"Alright... just hold still for a moment. I'm going to put an IV in, I will warn you, it'll pinch a bit.."
“You know more about…all these things. I suppose me not having a Ghostwalker does that…”
It was quite weird to see an Illumina without a Ghostwalker…
“How long will it take?”
"I suppose so... then again, I am considered an abnormality amongst versions of myself. I have yet to meet another version of myself who's also in the medical field."
He looks back down at the vein, making sure he's positioned right. He doesn't insert the needle yet.
"The IV or the procedure? The IV insertion won't take long at all... the procedure- I... am not sure."
"I- the whole thing I guess...I know this is a lot but...help is not around these lands. I didn't know what else to do..."
Illumina seemed nervous. Which made sense. He didn't want the others hurt. No matter how much Venomshank hurt or hated him he wanted him alive. Firebrand has always been there...
"Don't worry... I can take care of this. I understand this is alot on you. I understand..."
He nods reassuringly, facing him, attempting to look understanding & supportive. He longs to have his facial features again...
He turns back to the corvid deity, the needle & the tube ready to be inserted into his exposed vein. He soothes him, trying to make sure he won't flinch or freak out.
"I'm going to put the IV in now. It'll only hurt for a moment. In three... two..."
He pushes the needle in, pulling it out as soon as he's got the little tube in the vein. He hooks it up to the tube connected to the IV pole he had set up earlier, flicking a switch to push fluids into him.
He gets a little sticky patch & some gauze tape to hold the IV in place, working gently & efficiently, trying to coax the corvid deity whilst doing so.
"There. I'm going to give you some fluids first... I'll let you know when I give you anesthesia."
Venomshank tires pulling his wrist away but Illumina held it firm. The crow knew about potions, gases and all such. He knew what Ghostwalker was talking about. So he tried to pull away.
Even with a tank of a deity Venomshank was, he want as strong as he used to be....
Ghostwalker attempted to soothe him. He didn't want the corvid deity to be in distress, & he especially didn't want him jerking away. That would be bad.
He nodded to Illumina, thanking him for his efforts. He quickly finished putting the sticky patch & gauze tape on & around the IV, holding it in place. He then backed away, giving the deity some space.
Venomshank seemed to have calmed down a little, he didn't want to sleep...he hated going to sleep...the nightmares that await him...he doesn't want that!
"Do you mind if I turn on the lights Ven?"

Ghostwalker perked up slightly at the change in lighting. His vision was somewhat partial... so he was a little caught off guard. He pushed up his glasses.
"Oh. Fancy..."
He chuckled to himself, trying to atleast somewhat lighten the mood. He wanted Venomshank to be comfortable.
“I don’t use magic much when not in battle but…things a special case.”
Venomshank seemed to close his eyes and turned his head, not likely how bright everything was now. At least he was sitting still…

A familiar tall, formally & achromatically dressed deity stands in the distance, calling out to the violet dove deity. He has his briefcase in his grasp, holding it infront of him with both gloved hands.

The deity came out from behind a curtain. His metal heels clicking against the polished floors.
The deity looked…extremely different. Dressed in cleaner and majestic robes, hair now long and flowing, wings and tail preened and well kept and a halo blocking half his face the shape of The Spawn symbol.
His horn was bigger and more pointed and he had metal supports wrapped around his legs.
“Ah. It’s been a while. Well…for me at least.”
He looked... much better, to say the least. The stitched & broken deity scanned him up & down, glad that he wasn't as wilted & withered as he was before. He was significantly more healthy.
"It has been awhile, I apologize for not checking in beforehand... I am rather busy."
He extended out a gloved hand, letting out a noise of content. If he had a mouth, he would be smiling. But he unfortunately didn't have one.
"Have things been going well for you? I would hope so..."
“It’s…alright. War and all.”
War? Thats new. He got closer, letting the curtain door fall behind him. Black feathers seemed to fall out of that area…
“It is good to see you. Seeing the one who saved your life really brings up a mood…without you, someone would have found me dead. Laid in my garden of my old temple the next day.
"War? Well I suppose that can be understood & rather relatable... although I'd say my issues haven't escalated that much. Although if the route Darkheart continues it could be..."
He sighs after that last part, following & shaking his head. Their relationship was... interesting. He didn't say anything more or elaborate on that part, it must've been something more personal.
He chuckles, rubbing the back of his stitched neck with his free hand, sheepish.
"Well... it's just my job, really. No need to give me anymore credit or praise- I couldn't let you die. It would be going against my duty as a doctor, & my morals..."
“The Spawn had taken the throne and now the rest of the Inpherno is at threat. Doesn’t help that it released the one demon that hates me the most from his eternal prison.”
“I had to seal Ghostwalker away. He was sadly too far gone…went insane from the Runes Book. That sentient book is enough on my plate.”
“And speaking of you being a doctor…I would hate to ask for help, although the situation is getting dire.”
He listens attentively, pondering & taking in the information given to him. Hm... he always had a bad feeling about that alternate of himself- although he couldn't particularly say much on the Spawn.
"Sentient book? Reminds me of Brigand's tome.. but that is way out of my reach, not like I'm interested in eternal & never-ending knowledge such as that... it would drive me mad."
He perks up. He needs his assistance? He can do that!
"I would be able to assist... I'm more then just my medicine & healing aswell, so I could server more purpose. Although I am rather occupied with my own issues, but I could try to accommodate that in my schedule."
He seemed so desperate & so insistent on proving his worth, although he was already... more then worthy, more then useful. It was kinda sad to see him insist like he was being doubted, he was used to being belittled & doubted- it was a habit.
“Do not force yourself. I do not want you to get overwhelmed”
He brings up a hand to wave it off. The glowing of the halo seems to get a bit darker. He looked nervous. He didn’t want to bother Ghostwalker with their issues.
“…I can’t get my brother to eat. He refuses to take that mask off and if anyone touches it he will attack unless it’s me. He will just growl at me and yank away”
“I don’t know if there is a different way I can get him to eat in a medical sense? I took his mask off once but he almost bit me when I tried to force food down his throat.”
His wing fluttered a bit.
“He- he turned into my old self in a sense. Lost everything, no purpose left. He thinks Sword is dead, Darkheart used him as a toy he could just have fun killing over and over again, and The Spawn abandoned him.”
“He was wrongfully called a monster and banished for something he couldn’t control. If you have…anything that could help I would be greatly appreciative and will owe you.”
“And- Firebrand…there’s a lot…I don’t want you overwhelmed”
That... was alot to take in. He could only imagine how terrible it was to experience it firsthand. Although he didn't know how he was feeling exactly, he knew that feeling.
He contemplated for a moment. It was the mask that was the problem. Venomshank could still eat... but not through there.
"I mean.. there is the alternative of getting him a feeding tube. Although I'm not exactly a surgeon, I could still perform such a thing. I could insert it through his nose all the way down through his esophagus, or I could simply insert one through his abdomen. Either of those ways would be effective..."
He rubbed his mustache as he pondered more, his arms folded in a way that really showed his deep contemplation. The thinking man.
"I feel like that would be the most effective way... I could restrain him & then put him under anesthesia. Do you know if he'd respond badly to anesthesia via gas? I could give him it through an IV..."
He was really sticking with this idea. He was pretty certain it would be effective..
“Well, he usually produces gas. Although after going through the Shadow Gardina…The creatures there just- it’s like they altered his chemistry. I don’t know how well he will react, but we can try. It’s the best option in my opinion. The less painful option please…”
His feathers flattened. Venomshank has been through enough pain already. He sighs, his one eye closing to think.
“I can restrain him, if you can get him knocked out then I think it will work.”
He shook his head, insisting that he could deal with him, insisting that he could restrain & deal with him. He didn't want to be a burden in any way.
"I'd suggest anesthesia via IV then, no struggle & its the most effective way, there is a little pinch with the needle going in, but I'm very skilled & experienced. So no worries, I'll handle it- you don't have to worry..."
"If you want to console him before or during the procedure though, I will not stop you. I think it would be good for him to be atleast somewhat comfortable, I can only do so much.."
“He may react harshly but whatever thee- I mean- you think is best…”

He nodded, agreeing & thanking the other. He was glad he wasn't being dictated & micromanaged- it was absolutely infuriating.

So he decided to wait, to stay & take in the information he could retrieve from merely just looking at him. He said nothing.

Illumina walked up to the limp deity, kneeling down and lifting him up a bit.
“Stay calm ok?”
He looked over at Ghostwalker and motioned him to come over after making sure Venomshank wasn’t going to attack him out of the blue.
Ghostwalker silently moved over, squatting down a bit himself to properly look at the two deities, most notably the crow deity.

Ghostwalker silently moved over, squatting down a bit himself to properly look at the two deities, most notably the crow deity.
He waved, attempting to contort his lacking & stitched face into a friendly expression, to little avail. He was silently wishing that he still had a mouth, so he could smile...
Venomshank was unresponsive. He only turned his head a bit to look at Ghostwalker. He looked so out of it. Tears constantly falling from his eyes and hitting the floor with a sizzle.
The mask looked new. Instead of brown it was white and didn’t cover his entire face. He seemed so…docile.
Illumina was holding the top half of his brother close, gently moving what was left of the forty’s hair out of the way.
At least he wasn’t fluffy anymore so this wouldn’t be even harder.
He carefully inched closer, kneeling down towards the other deity. He wasn't necessarily afraid, he just didn't want to startle him.
He wanted to give him a consultation first. Morals, & all. He quietly cleared his throat.
"Hello... I was informed you were having difficulties eating? I- came up with a few solutions to that problem, I would like to talk it over with you first though."
Venomshank didn’t respond and just closed his eyes. Sighing out a low growl. He was exhausted. No matter how much he slept he just always woke up exhausted.
Probably since he hasn’t eaten or drank anything in a few days.
Illumina continues to gently pet Venomshank to try and keep him at ease.
“He hasn’t spoken since I brought him here”
He nods, letting out a soft 'ah' in realization. He felt stupid. Of course he wouldn't speak- why would he?
"I see... apologies. I did not know."
He fell silent for a moment as he pondered, debating on what he should say next.
“It’s alright.”
Illumina grabs Venomshank’s wrist and holds it out to the other deity. Venomshank was surprisingly clean and his feathers looked well kept. Must be Illumina’s doing.,..
“I think this must go quick. There is another I am very concerned about as well…”
He inspects the corvid deity's wrist, his gaze trialing all over his arm, gently getting a hold of him, moving some feathers away on the inside of his elbow. No veins visible. He moved up & down his arm, finally finding a vein in his hand.
"Venom, you are very clearly dehydrated.. I may have to give you some fluids before I actually start any parts of the procedure. Standards & all that..."
His briefcase, which was set to the side, he turned to for a moment, opening it. He had... alot of things! Including an entire collapsible IV pole & bags of medicine & fluids... how big was the inside of that thing? Who knew.
He let go of the corvid deity for a moment as he began setting everything up. He really was prepared, huh? He stumbled as he got up, knees wobbling a little. Was he okay-?
“Are you alright? Ghostwalker, please don’t do this if you are unwell…”
Illumina looked up, staring at Ghostwalker as he continued to try and keep the other calm. It was hard to see the dove’s expression under that halo but it was squinted in worry.
"I'm alright- just- I forgot my cane... again. I have weak joints, aswell as some chronic fatigue & arthritis- I don't know if I ever told you. I'm alright, though."
He nodded reassuringly, shakily sitting himself back down after hooking everything up, the tube connected to the bag not hooked up to an IV yet.
He pulled out the actual IV, a little tube & a needle- that would be inserted directly into a vein. He brought that along with some alcohol prep pads as he gently moved away some of Venomshank's feathers, trying to find that vein again...
Venomshank whined softly. He didn’t know what was happening but he couldn’t care less. It more of a confused whine than a hurt one.
“If you need anything I can check Firebrand’s room. He uses a cane as well since…well he can’t see like he used too…”
He shook his head, pushing up his little rounded pair of glasses.
"No, no... I use an offset handle cane, he would not have one of those if he was blind... that would be a folding cane. He doesn't have the kind I need, but thank you for the offer."
He looked back at the deity infront of him, opening an alcohol prep pad & wiping the exposed skin with it. He attempts to soothe the corvid deity, not wanting to startle him in any way.
"Alright... just hold still for a moment. I'm going to put an IV in, I will warn you, it'll pinch a bit.."
“You know more about…all these things. I suppose me not having a Ghostwalker does that…”
It was quite weird to see an Illumina without a Ghostwalker…
“How long will it take?”
"I suppose so... then again, I am considered an abnormality amongst versions of myself. I have yet to meet another version of myself who's also in the medical field."
He looks back down at the vein, making sure he's positioned right. He doesn't insert the needle yet.
"The IV or the procedure? The IV insertion won't take long at all... the procedure- I... am not sure."
"I- the whole thing I guess...I know this is a lot but...help is not around these lands. I didn't know what else to do..."
Illumina seemed nervous. Which made sense. He didn't want the others hurt. No matter how much Venomshank hurt or hated him he wanted him alive. Firebrand has always been there...

"I'm going to put the IV in now. It'll only hurt for a moment. In three... two..."
He pushes the needle in, pulling it out as soon as he's got the little tube in the vein. He hooks it up to the tube connected to the IV pole he had set up earlier, flicking a switch to push fluids into him.
He gets a little sticky patch & some gauze tape to hold the IV in place, working gently & efficiently, trying to coax the corvid deity whilst doing so.
"There. I'm going to give you some fluids first... I'll let you know when I give you anesthesia."
Venomshank tires pulling his wrist away but Illumina held it firm. The crow knew about potions, gases and all such. He knew what Ghostwalker was talking about. So he tried to pull away.
Even with a tank of a deity Venomshank was, he want as strong as he used to be....

A familiar tall, formally & achromatically dressed deity stands in the distance, calling out to the violet dove deity. He has his briefcase in his grasp, holding it infront of him with both gloved hands.

The deity looked…extremely different. Dressed in cleaner and majestic robes, hair now long and flowing, wings and tail preened and well kept and a halo blocking half his face the shape of The Spawn symbol.
His horn was bigger and more pointed and he had metal supports wrapped around his legs.
“Ah. It’s been a while. Well…for me at least.”
He looked... much better, to say the least. The stitched & broken deity scanned him up & down, glad that he wasn't as wilted & withered as he was before. He was significantly more healthy.
"It has been awhile, I apologize for not checking in beforehand... I am rather busy."
He extended out a gloved hand, letting out a noise of content. If he had a mouth, he would be smiling. But he unfortunately didn't have one.
"Have things been going well for you? I would hope so..."

War? Thats new. He got closer, letting the curtain door fall behind him. Black feathers seemed to fall out of that area…
“It is good to see you. Seeing the one who saved your life really brings up a mood…without you, someone would have found me dead. Laid in my garden of my old temple the next day.
"War? Well I suppose that can be understood & rather relatable... although I'd say my issues haven't escalated that much. Although if the route Darkheart continues it could be..."
He sighs after that last part, following & shaking his head. Their relationship was... interesting. He didn't say anything more or elaborate on that part, it must've been something more personal.

He listens attentively, pondering & taking in the information given to him. Hm... he always had a bad feeling about that alternate of himself- although he couldn't particularly say much on the Spawn.
"Sentient book? Reminds me of Brigand's tome.. but that is way out of my reach, not like I'm interested in eternal & never-ending knowledge such as that... it would drive me mad."

"I would be able to assist... I'm more then just my medicine & healing aswell, so I could server more purpose. Although I am rather occupied with my own issues, but I could try to accommodate that in my schedule."
He seemed so desperate & so insistent on proving his worth, although he was already... more then worthy, more then useful. It was kinda sad to see him insist like he was being doubted, he was used to being belittled & doubted- it was a habit.

He brings up a hand to wave it off. The glowing of the halo seems to get a bit darker. He looked nervous. He didn’t want to bother Ghostwalker with their issues.
“…I can’t get my brother to eat. He refuses to take that mask off and if anyone touches it he will attack unless it’s me. He will just growl at me and yank away”
“I don’t know if there is a different way I can get him to eat in a medical sense? I took his mask off once but he almost bit me when I tried to force food down his throat.”

“He- he turned into my old self in a sense. Lost everything, no purpose left. He thinks Sword is dead, Darkheart used him as a toy he could just have fun killing over and over again, and The Spawn abandoned him.”
“He was wrongfully called a monster and banished for something he couldn’t control. If you have…anything that could help I would be greatly appreciative and will owe you.”

That... was alot to take in. He could only imagine how terrible it was to experience it firsthand. Although he didn't know how he was feeling exactly, he knew that feeling.
He contemplated for a moment. It was the mask that was the problem. Venomshank could still eat... but not through there.
"I mean.. there is the alternative of getting him a feeding tube. Although I'm not exactly a surgeon, I could still perform such a thing. I could insert it through his nose all the way down through his esophagus, or I could simply insert one through his abdomen. Either of those ways would be effective..."
He rubbed his mustache as he pondered more, his arms folded in a way that really showed his deep contemplation. The thinking man.
"I feel like that would be the most effective way... I could restrain him & then put him under anesthesia. Do you know if he'd respond badly to anesthesia via gas? I could give him it through an IV..."
He was really sticking with this idea. He was pretty certain it would be effective..
“Well, he usually produces gas. Although after going through the Shadow Gardina…The creatures there just- it’s like they altered his chemistry. I don’t know how well he will react, but we can try. It’s the best option in my opinion. The less painful option please…”

“I can restrain him, if you can get him knocked out then I think it will work.”

"I'd suggest anesthesia via IV then, no struggle & its the most effective way, there is a little pinch with the needle going in, but I'm very skilled & experienced. So no worries, I'll handle it- you don't have to worry..."
"If you want to console him before or during the procedure though, I will not stop you. I think it would be good for him to be atleast somewhat comfortable, I can only do so much.."

He was quiet, making sure he didn't startle the other deity, but he did observe his state. He... did not look well, he wouldn't deny, but he was a little intimidated of the idea of immediately going up to him & asking questions. He wanted to be gentle.
So he decided to wait, to stay & take in the information he could retrieve from merely just looking at him. He said nothing.

He let go of the corvid deity for a moment as he began setting everything up. He really was prepared, huh? He stumbled as he got up, knees wobbling a little. Was he okay-?
“Are you alright? Ghostwalker, please don’t do this if you are unwell…”
Illumina looked up, staring at Ghostwalker as he continued to try and keep the other calm. It was hard to see the dove’s expression under that halo but it was squinted in worry.
"I'm alright- just- I forgot my cane... again. I have weak joints, aswell as some chronic fatigue & arthritis- I don't know if I ever told you. I'm alright, though."
He nodded reassuringly, shakily sitting himself back down after hooking everything up, the tube connected to the bag not hooked up to an IV yet.
He pulled out the actual IV, a little tube & a needle- that would be inserted directly into a vein. He brought that along with some alcohol prep pads as he gently moved away some of Venomshank's feathers, trying to find that vein again...
Venomshank whined softly. He didn’t know what was happening but he couldn’t care less. It more of a confused whine than a hurt one.
“If you need anything I can check Firebrand’s room. He uses a cane as well since…well he can’t see like he used too…”
He shook his head, pushing up his little rounded pair of glasses.
"No, no... I use an offset handle cane, he would not have one of those if he was blind... that would be a folding cane. He doesn't have the kind I need, but thank you for the offer."
He looked back at the deity infront of him, opening an alcohol prep pad & wiping the exposed skin with it. He attempts to soothe the corvid deity, not wanting to startle him in any way.
"Alright... just hold still for a moment. I'm going to put an IV in, I will warn you, it'll pinch a bit.."

A familiar tall, formally & achromatically dressed deity stands in the distance, calling out to the violet dove deity. He has his briefcase in his grasp, holding it infront of him with both gloved hands.

The deity came out from behind a curtain. His metal heels clicking against the polished floors.
The deity looked…extremely different. Dressed in cleaner and majestic robes, hair now long and flowing, wings and tail preened and well kept and a halo blocking half his face the shape of The Spawn symbol.
His horn was bigger and more pointed and he had metal supports wrapped around his legs.
“Ah. It’s been a while. Well…for me at least.”
He looked... much better, to say the least. The stitched & broken deity scanned him up & down, glad that he wasn't as wilted & withered as he was before. He was significantly more healthy.
"It has been awhile, I apologize for not checking in beforehand... I am rather busy."
He extended out a gloved hand, letting out a noise of content. If he had a mouth, he would be smiling. But he unfortunately didn't have one.
"Have things been going well for you? I would hope so..."
“It’s…alright. War and all.”
War? Thats new. He got closer, letting the curtain door fall behind him. Black feathers seemed to fall out of that area…
“It is good to see you. Seeing the one who saved your life really brings up a mood…without you, someone would have found me dead. Laid in my garden of my old temple the next day.
"War? Well I suppose that can be understood & rather relatable... although I'd say my issues haven't escalated that much. Although if the route Darkheart continues it could be..."
He sighs after that last part, following & shaking his head. Their relationship was... interesting. He didn't say anything more or elaborate on that part, it must've been something more personal.
He chuckles, rubbing the back of his stitched neck with his free hand, sheepish.
"Well... it's just my job, really. No need to give me anymore credit or praise- I couldn't let you die. It would be going against my duty as a doctor, & my morals..."

“I had to seal Ghostwalker away. He was sadly too far gone…went insane from the Runes Book. That sentient book is enough on my plate.”
“And speaking of you being a doctor…I would hate to ask for help, although the situation is getting dire.”
He listens attentively, pondering & taking in the information given to him. Hm... he always had a bad feeling about that alternate of himself- although he couldn't particularly say much on the Spawn.
"Sentient book? Reminds me of Brigand's tome.. but that is way out of my reach, not like I'm interested in eternal & never-ending knowledge such as that... it would drive me mad."
He perks up. He needs his assistance? He can do that!
"I would be able to assist... I'm more then just my medicine & healing aswell, so I could server more purpose. Although I am rather occupied with my own issues, but I could try to accommodate that in my schedule."
He seemed so desperate & so insistent on proving his worth, although he was already... more then worthy, more then useful. It was kinda sad to see him insist like he was being doubted, he was used to being belittled & doubted- it was a habit.

He brings up a hand to wave it off. The glowing of the halo seems to get a bit darker. He looked nervous. He didn’t want to bother Ghostwalker with their issues.

“I don’t know if there is a different way I can get him to eat in a medical sense? I took his mask off once but he almost bit me when I tried to force food down his throat.”

“He- he turned into my old self in a sense. Lost everything, no purpose left. He thinks Sword is dead, Darkheart used him as a toy he could just have fun killing over and over again, and The Spawn abandoned him.”
“He was wrongfully called a monster and banished for something he couldn’t control. If you have…anything that could help I would be greatly appreciative and will owe you.”

That... was alot to take in. He could only imagine how terrible it was to experience it firsthand. Although he didn't know how he was feeling exactly, he knew that feeling.
He contemplated for a moment. It was the mask that was the problem. Venomshank could still eat... but not through there.
"I mean.. there is the alternative of getting him a feeding tube. Although I'm not exactly a surgeon, I could still perform such a thing. I could insert it through his nose all the way down through his esophagus, or I could simply insert one through his abdomen. Either of those ways would be effective..."
He rubbed his mustache as he pondered more, his arms folded in a way that really showed his deep contemplation. The thinking man.
"I feel like that would be the most effective way... I could restrain him & then put him under anesthesia. Do you know if he'd respond badly to anesthesia via gas? I could give him it through an IV..."
He was really sticking with this idea. He was pretty certain it would be effective..
“Well, he usually produces gas. Although after going through the Shadow Gardina…The creatures there just- it’s like they altered his chemistry. I don’t know how well he will react, but we can try. It’s the best option in my opinion. The less painful option please…”
His feathers flattened. Venomshank has been through enough pain already. He sighs, his one eye closing to think.
“I can restrain him, if you can get him knocked out then I think it will work.”
He shook his head, insisting that he could deal with him, insisting that he could restrain & deal with him. He didn't want to be a burden in any way.
"I'd suggest anesthesia via IV then, no struggle & its the most effective way, there is a little pinch with the needle going in, but I'm very skilled & experienced. So no worries, I'll handle it- you don't have to worry..."
"If you want to console him before or during the procedure though, I will not stop you. I think it would be good for him to be atleast somewhat comfortable, I can only do so much.."

Illumina nods and head into the room with the curtain door, motioning for Ghostwalker to follow.
The room was dark. Although it had enough light to see the figure on the ground. The room had black feathers scattered about and crows around the depressed deity.
His eyes and tears glowed in the dim room.
He was quiet, making sure he didn't startle the other deity, but he did observe his state. He... did not look well, he wouldn't deny, but he was a little intimidated of the idea of immediately going up to him & asking questions. He wanted to be gentle.
So he decided to wait, to stay & take in the information he could retrieve from merely just looking at him. He said nothing.
“Ven.”
Illumina walked up to the limp deity, kneeling down and lifting him up a bit.
“Stay calm ok?”
He looked over at Ghostwalker and motioned him to come over after making sure Venomshank wasn’t going to attack him out of the blue.
Ghostwalker silently moved over, squatting down a bit himself to properly look at the two deities, most notably the crow deity.
He waved, attempting to contort his lacking & stitched face into a friendly expression, to little avail. He was silently wishing that he still had a mouth, so he could smile...
Venomshank was unresponsive. He only turned his head a bit to look at Ghostwalker. He looked so out of it. Tears constantly falling from his eyes and hitting the floor with a sizzle.
The mask looked new. Instead of brown it was white and didn’t cover his entire face. He seemed so…docile.
Illumina was holding the top half of his brother close, gently moving what was left of the forty’s hair out of the way.
At least he wasn’t fluffy anymore so this wouldn’t be even harder.
He carefully inched closer, kneeling down towards the other deity. He wasn't necessarily afraid, he just didn't want to startle him.

"Hello... I was informed you were having difficulties eating? I- came up with a few solutions to that problem, I would like to talk it over with you first though."

Probably since he hasn’t eaten or drank anything in a few days.
Illumina continues to gently pet Venomshank to try and keep him at ease.
“He hasn’t spoken since I brought him here”
He nods, letting out a soft 'ah' in realization. He felt stupid. Of course he wouldn't speak- why would he?
"I see... apologies. I did not know."
He fell silent for a moment as he pondered, debating on what he should say next.

Illumina grabs Venomshank’s wrist and holds it out to the other deity. Venomshank was surprisingly clean and his feathers looked well kept. Must be Illumina’s doing.,..
“I think this must go quick. There is another I am very concerned about as well…”
He inspects the corvid deity's wrist, his gaze trialing all over his arm, gently getting a hold of him, moving some feathers away on the inside of his elbow. No veins visible. He moved up & down his arm, finally finding a vein in his hand.
"Venom, you are very clearly dehydrated.. I may have to give you some fluids before I actually start any parts of the procedure. Standards & all that..."

"I'd suggest anesthesia via IV then, no struggle & its the most effective way, there is a little pinch with the needle going in, but I'm very skilled & experienced. So no worries, I'll handle it- you don't have to worry..."
"If you want to console him before or during the procedure though, I will not stop you. I think it would be good for him to be atleast somewhat comfortable, I can only do so much.."

He turned around and opened the curtain again, motioning the other to follow him.
He nodded, agreeing & thanking the other. He was glad he wasn't being dictated & micromanaged- it was absolutely infuriating.

Illumina nods and head into the room with the curtain door, motioning for Ghostwalker to follow.
The room was dark. Although it had enough light to see the figure on the ground. The room had black feathers scattered about and crows around the depressed deity.
His eyes and tears glowed in the dim room.
He was quiet, making sure he didn't startle the other deity, but he did observe his state. He... did not look well, he wouldn't deny, but he was a little intimidated of the idea of immediately going up to him & asking questions. He wanted to be gentle.
So he decided to wait, to stay & take in the information he could retrieve from merely just looking at him. He said nothing.
“Ven.”
Illumina walked up to the limp deity, kneeling down and lifting him up a bit.
“Stay calm ok?”
He looked over at Ghostwalker and motioned him to come over after making sure Venomshank wasn’t going to attack him out of the blue.
Ghostwalker silently moved over, squatting down a bit himself to properly look at the two deities, most notably the crow deity.
He waved, attempting to contort his lacking & stitched face into a friendly expression, to little avail. He was silently wishing that he still had a mouth, so he could smile...
Venomshank was unresponsive. He only turned his head a bit to look at Ghostwalker. He looked so out of it. Tears constantly falling from his eyes and hitting the floor with a sizzle.
The mask looked new. Instead of brown it was white and didn’t cover his entire face. He seemed so…docile.
Illumina was holding the top half of his brother close, gently moving what was left of the forty’s hair out of the way.
At least he wasn’t fluffy anymore so this wouldn’t be even harder.
He carefully inched closer, kneeling down towards the other deity. He wasn't necessarily afraid, he just didn't want to startle him.
He wanted to give him a consultation first. Morals, & all. He quietly cleared his throat.
"Hello... I was informed you were having difficulties eating? I- came up with a few solutions to that problem, I would like to talk it over with you first though."
Venomshank didn’t respond and just closed his eyes. Sighing out a low growl. He was exhausted. No matter how much he slept he just always woke up exhausted.
Probably since he hasn’t eaten or drank anything in a few days.
Illumina continues to gently pet Venomshank to try and keep him at ease.
“He hasn’t spoken since I brought him here”
He nods, letting out a soft 'ah' in realization. He felt stupid. Of course he wouldn't speak- why would he?
"I see... apologies. I did not know."
He fell silent for a moment as he pondered, debating on what he should say next.
“It’s alright.”
Illumina grabs Venomshank’s wrist and holds it out to the other deity. Venomshank was surprisingly clean and his feathers looked well kept. Must be Illumina’s doing.,..
“I think this must go quick. There is another I am very concerned about as well…”

"Hello-? I was summoned here.."
A familiar tall, formally & achromatically dressed deity stands in the distance, calling out to the violet dove deity. He has his briefcase in his grasp, holding it infront of him with both gloved hands.

The deity came out from behind a curtain. His metal heels clicking against the polished floors.
The deity looked…extremely different. Dressed in cleaner and majestic robes, hair now long and flowing, wings and tail preened and well kept and a halo blocking half his face the shape of The Spawn symbol.
His horn was bigger and more pointed and he had metal supports wrapped around his legs.
“Ah. It’s been a while. Well…for me at least.”
He looked... much better, to say the least. The stitched & broken deity scanned him up & down, glad that he wasn't as wilted & withered as he was before. He was significantly more healthy.
"It has been awhile, I apologize for not checking in beforehand... I am rather busy."
He extended out a gloved hand, letting out a noise of content. If he had a mouth, he would be smiling. But he unfortunately didn't have one.
"Have things been going well for you? I would hope so..."
“It’s…alright. War and all.”
War? Thats new. He got closer, letting the curtain door fall behind him. Black feathers seemed to fall out of that area…
“It is good to see you. Seeing the one who saved your life really brings up a mood…without you, someone would have found me dead. Laid in my garden of my old temple the next day.
"War? Well I suppose that can be understood & rather relatable... although I'd say my issues haven't escalated that much. Although if the route Darkheart continues it could be..."
He sighs after that last part, following & shaking his head. Their relationship was... interesting. He didn't say anything more or elaborate on that part, it must've been something more personal.
He chuckles, rubbing the back of his stitched neck with his free hand, sheepish.

He listens attentively, pondering & taking in the information given to him. Hm... he always had a bad feeling about that alternate of himself- although he couldn't particularly say much on the Spawn.
"Sentient book? Reminds me of Brigand's tome.. but that is way out of my reach, not like I'm interested in eternal & never-ending knowledge such as that... it would drive me mad."
He perks up. He needs his assistance? He can do that!
"I would be able to assist... I'm more then just my medicine & healing aswell, so I could server more purpose. Although I am rather occupied with my own issues, but I could try to accommodate that in my schedule."
He seemed so desperate & so insistent on proving his worth, although he was already... more then worthy, more then useful. It was kinda sad to see him insist like he was being doubted, he was used to being belittled & doubted- it was a habit.
“Do not force yourself. I do not want you to get overwhelmed”
He brings up a hand to wave it off. The glowing of the halo seems to get a bit darker. He looked nervous. He didn’t want to bother Ghostwalker with their issues.
“…I can’t get my brother to eat. He refuses to take that mask off and if anyone touches it he will attack unless it’s me. He will just growl at me and yank away”
“I don’t know if there is a different way I can get him to eat in a medical sense? I took his mask off once but he almost bit me when I tried to force food down his throat.”
His wing fluttered a bit.
“He- he turned into my old self in a sense. Lost everything, no purpose left. He thinks Sword is dead, Darkheart used him as a toy he could just have fun killing over and over again, and The Spawn abandoned him.”
“He was wrongfully called a monster and banished for something he couldn’t control. If you have…anything that could help I would be greatly appreciative and will owe you.”
“And- Firebrand…there’s a lot…I don’t want you overwhelmed”
That... was alot to take in. He could only imagine how terrible it was to experience it firsthand. Although he didn't know how he was feeling exactly, he knew that feeling.
He contemplated for a moment. It was the mask that was the problem. Venomshank could still eat... but not through there.
"I mean.. there is the alternative of getting him a feeding tube. Although I'm not exactly a surgeon, I could still perform such a thing. I could insert it through his nose all the way down through his esophagus, or I could simply insert one through his abdomen. Either of those ways would be effective..."
