Update, we're both okay I think!!

Slurg wasn't too worried about it, just a bit bubbly. I think someone tried to make mustard gas in him?? But, I was sitting by his pit at like 12 am (don't judge me) and he burped directly into my face. Next thing I knew it my lungs and eyes were burning up and I had burns on my arms and face, hurt like shit

Ended up going to the hospital because of it, they said it seemed like Chemical and Poison burns. I was cleared to go home this morning with some eye and lung irritation... Slurg is still in his pit, looking a bit sad. I can't go over to him because of the gas, but I'm just going to see if we can wait it out 😞

Whats your definition of harm? A margikarp can't really use big moves and stuff, but if you stick your finger in its mouth it can give you a good bite which Is harm,, and also their harm to local ecosystems at times. If these are included too, I believe Metapod, Kakuna, and Cascoon would be the only remaining pokemon after this purge? This is a genuine interest.

My personal definition of harm is initially if they actively hunt or hurt humans.

But more of a secondary definition (which are pokémon that I plan on annihilating after the initial first definition ones) are ones who cause humans harm by simply existing.

Interesting! What's this plan you have? I know you said pokemon are strong enough as is so, I'd imagine your plan would be pretty difficult. It's also clearly not too popular, from the responses on other posts.

I'm still figuring that out myself. I do have a few people who believe in my cause, we meet every so often - a few suggest that training pokémon simply to boost our ideal is forgivable because it's for the greater good - I personally won't be taking part in it.

Sorry about the late response, busy busy day.. But, I can see where you're coming from, alot of people calling you abnormal or something, but its normal to be afraid. You just shouldn't be projecting that onto others, even if you want the best, for there to be no harm in the world I'm assuming, a path like this will end up hurting alot of innocent people. This is sort of out of Rotomblrs pay grade and also this 19 year old biology students lol, maybe you should take your concerns to a therapist? Not all of them are involved with psychic pokemon. Therapy not really to change your mind, but you seem really bothered by it.

Secondly, I doubt therapy will change much for me - it's good that it bothers me because it means I'll be making a change. I'm very thankful you've talked about this reasonably, and you seem to respect my feelings too, I'm thankful, genuinely.

Mutual respect makes a conversation easier,even if you don't agree with eachother. I'm glad you're actually pretty reasonable in a talk and not super crazy or something like everyone fears!

For the therapy thing, yeah I get that, therapy is kind of a weird thing to get into I suppose. Mostly depends on what region its in.. And it is good you want to bring change for your feelings, but therapy could help you come up with more solutions to it? Ones that could cause less harm to you and others, and itd also be good for feedback outside of the angry replies of the rotomblr

I think people assume I'm frantic and eccentric because of my beliefs - I find myself to be more reserved and... normal. So thank you for also being reasonable and normal!! I feel like this conversation has actually gotten somewhere.
