Let’s Talk: Blog Organization

I’ve been asked a few times how I organize my blog, what makes me decide to follow a blog or not and also some tips on askblogging in general-and it’s a little overwhelming! So instead of answering them individual I decided to make a ‘Let’s Talk’ format guide that I’ll post snippets of periodically.

Please note: These are by no means the ‘way to do it’ or ‘what you have to do’, it’s all my opinion and suggestions gathered from askblogging for about 6+ years. I’d like to think I kinda know what I’m doing now? But the second I think that surely something is going to throw me for a loop!

Tulip swallows thickly, and inhales to speak before stoppingshort. She has a few more false starts, trying to formulate her words. This seems to be a question she can’t answersmoothly.

“I think”–she interlocks her fingers–“that I could do alot.”

Tulip clenches her eyes shut for a few seconds.

“Someone could do a lot in that position.”

It’s a guarded answer, but an answer nonetheless.

Cooldown Policy

hello! we’d like to introduce a short cooldown policy on sending asks to the same blog! 

It’s nothing major! It’s just a system in which after follow-ups are sent to the blog and after those follow-ups are answered, we will not send an ask to that blog for 1 week. You are free to request in this timeframe, but we will wait 1 week after follow-ups are answered in order to tend to blogs that may need some attention!
