A very important PSA for my self shippers and oc shippers out there to please treat yourself/your oc like the main character! Indulge in it! You are building this world, this ship, this story for you! Absolutely let yourself or your oc be central to the narrative, have a prominent place in it, be involved in major events, be special to the other characters. Show yourself and your characters some love, even if it feels like it’s “too much” or “silly” or “cringe” (it isn’t, I promise you). I don’t care if it feels “cliché” or “overindulgent” because it’s supposed to be fun! Have fun! Celebrate the joy of putting yourself and your characters into stories you love!

Hm, there's a cool person, but one of my f/os is on their non sharing list, but they only say to not interact if you're a romantic double and don't say anything about strong queerplatonic feelings.

Parental F/O Imagine

Not showing your artwork/sculpture/project/etc to nobody but your parental f/o. For whatever reason, maybe you don't like sharing your work with other people. Maybe only to a friend, or maybe nobody at all. But I assure you that you can always share your work with your parental f/o!

Maybe your parental f/o practices some kind of art/music/etc themself and gives you some pointers on whatever you are working on if you ask of them. If they don't, they will still appreciate and support what you are working on. Oh, the colors look so pretty here! Oh, the beat or the way you sing in this part of the song is groovy! Oh, the way you sculpted here is so smooth looking! Oh, those bracelets are adorable! Did you make a matching bracelet for your parental f/o yet? :3

Just because you maybe can't draw, do a certain template, make your f/o or sona/oc in a popular character creator/dress up game or play games that let you make your ship / f/os doesn't mean you are any less valid or amazing as everyone who can do those things!

It's completely okay to feel sad that you can't participate either! Just remember that your selfship is still so lovely and amazing even if you can't hop on these popular trends! 💖
