But this corona scare is about to drive me insane. Yes its an issue, yes lives have been taken and I am sorry to those who have lost loved ones, I'm constantly concerned for my family, but its without a doubt been blown out of major proportions due to social media and their fear mongering tactics.
Obviously fear mongering and false rumors spread fast and hit hard. Honestly at this point, its controlling not one, but far more then several nations. According to worldmeters.info as of typing this. 96% of current cases are mild, and 89% have recovered/been discharged with 11% having resulted in death. This is world wide might I add. That's 11,953 deaths worldwide
The flu, which we all know by now of anti vaxxers being against flu shots for whatever reasons may be. But besides that, besides a vaccine existing, in the US alone during the 2019-2020 flu season there were around 14,000-16,000 deaths (checked multiple sources and thats the round about from the different responses).
Anyways back to my initial point, fear mongering is literally controlling multiple countries and multiple economies. Controlling our day to day lives to the point (using USA as the example) that several shut downs have taken place from restaurants to schools.
And the fear mongering isnt done, people going on and on spreading more rumors such as martial law in the US, EVEN THOUGH the majority of cases are minor or recovered.
This is in my opinion borderline criminal activity, in fact Im about to go research how much money news stations and other forms of social media where the FM began. How much income have they gained for this false news.
Anyways this is a shout out to the void of the world
