The Unknown Dynamic.

Uh... Sorry class, seems like I can't talk about this dynamic at the moment. Not that you need to worry, just forget I ever brought it up.

Alpha Sub-Dynamics.

- Gammas are likely the most ridiculed of the sub-dynamics, a submissive alpha is always the but end of a joke. However, they tend to be extremely caring partners, highly aware of their partner’s needs and wants and can be a hopeless romantic. Gammas like family, enjoy having a steady home and aren’t as possessive or territorial as most alphas are. Despite this, they will fight to protect those who cannot defend themselves. With their empathy along with the alpha desire to protect, they can be a valuable assets to any law enforcement as they do not desire to compete with other alphas. They don’t mind following but also can take the lead if need be. Gammas are usually a result in low fertility in an alpha and omega couple.

- Upsilons are the most dangerous out of the sub-dynamics, a hyper-aggressive alpha who is more feral than human. Unable to function normally in society, they are often kept in institutes even to this day. In history, the most bloodthirsty of warlords were assumed to be this sub-dynamic. They hold little rationality and are in constant need to prove themselves through physical violence. They are even known to hunt down and actively kill omegas instead of the normal alpha instinct to protect them. The only good thing is that they don’t tend to be very intelligent, often relying on pure basic instinct that planning out the future. Upsilons are a result in a mutation between two high fertility alphas.

Beta Sub-Dynamics

- Deltas are a branch off the Beta dynamic, they tend to lean more to the passive and submissive traits between a Beta an omega. They often excel in counseling and meditation studies as their neutral but subtly sweet scent is calming, not as demanding as an omegas and helps clear the mind. They are noted to be commonly born from a beta and omega parent, before genetic research it was first assumed they were infertile and defective omegas.

- Epsilons were thought to be infertile alphas but are actually aggressive betas. Their desire to dominate and possessive makes them rivals to the average alpha. Their scent overcompensated for their dynamic, making it oppressive and can sometimes trick lesser omegas into thinking they are an alpha. They often leave base dynamics off balance, uncertain to determine if they’re an actual threat due to their agitated scent that isn’t as threatening as an alpha’s. When faced with an alpha, a Epsilon will strive to compete and outdo the alpha, to prove themselves to be just as dominant. Epsilons usually only accept omegas as their partners, unable to have a healthy relationship with anyone who doesn’t submit to them. Epsilons are usually the mutation of a high fertility alpha and a low fertility beta.

Omega Sub- Dynamics.

- Thetas are a branch off the Omega dynamic, they are considered the weakest of the sub-dynamics. Usually they are under the care of others, unable to really live their life independently due to their lack of will and self-confidence. They are easily abused and their omega scent is weak, in ancient times they were held in great value as pleasure slaves. In current times, they often have programs in place to deal with sub-dynamics. In a Thetas’ case they will often be put under the guardianship of betas or even Gammas. With recent studies it seems a Theta thrives well with a Gamma, but due to each sub-dynamic being rare they often live in shared households with a gamma and several Thetas. A Theta is a mutation between two low fertility omegas.

- Sigmas in history have often had it the worst, being a dominant omega was frowned upon until recent times. They are immune to an alpha’s command and will even fight an alpha if they overstep their bounds. Sigmas tend to be hyper-aggressive and will take any reason to pick a fight. They are highly territorial, almost rivaling an Alpha’s need to keep their possessions close. Sigmas do not feel the drive to make nests, and it is very rare that they go into heats. Though when they do, it is compared to a rut almost. Its rare for a Sigma to have an alpha partner as they both fight for the dominant position in the relationship and it sometimes tends to smear an alpha’s notorious pride. Sigmas are usually the genetic mutation of an alpha and omega offspring.

Sub-Dynamics.

Don't leave class just yet, I have given you the simplification of the base dynamics, but I haven't even started with the lesser known dynamics. This is a list of all the dynamics within our world:

Betas.

Betas are the base common ground of dynamics, they cannot be swayed by either alphas or omegas. This makes them ideal workers in the medical and educational fields. They take up a majority of the population and they tend to be the most diverse at the same time.

Scents - Their scents tend to be barely there, if any at times, and if they do have them, they're more neutral, like say air-dried linen. They comforting clean feeling that's not too overpowering.

Anatomy - There's not much to say anatomy wise with Betas, there's nothing really of note aside that they tend to be more healthy that other dynamics.

Build - Betas have a wide variety of builds, it really just depends on their lifestyle and a dash of genetics tossed in. Like a beta born from one omega partner could have a slightly leaner build while a beta with one alpha parent could have a larger one. As I said, they have a wide variety that there's no real average among them.

Teeth - Fairly average all around, if their canines are sharp in the slightest, it will only be the top two. If a beta has a alpha parent, their canines might be bigger than usual. Though they don't have any real instinctive desire to leave mating bites.

Status - Betas are the most relied upon in society, they are the backbone of it as they are not affected by ruts or heats. They tend to be trusted in positions of taking care of youth or those who are in need of medical attention. They can hold any position in the work place and can be highly sought after to keep balance in the company.

Alphas.

Alphas are considered the base dominant dynamic, renown for the ones to be on top, but just like the omega, there are always differences with each individual. They're usual the ones to lead the charge, to take control if the situation gets messy. Its often in their nature to protect and care for the more submissive dynamics.

Scents - There scents tend to be on the stronger, muskier side, bold to make sure everyone knows who they are, what they are, and who/what belongs to them. The general smells could be anything sharp and commanding to the nose.

Anatomy - Now kids, let's be mature. Alphas are also known for having bigger genitals that the other dynamics, in addition, they also grow a knot at the base which inflates whenever they get aroused. This was once used to just help procreation set in, but now its not necessary technically in this day and age. Females do not have a means to get someone pregnant but there is a rare chance that they could become pregnant.

Build - Alpha tend to be built stockier than other dynamics, stronger to fit what nature had decided them to do, protect others and fight over partners. Neither is really necessary in the modern age and alpha fighting rings have been banned since a few decades ago. This might explain why alphas with a more relaxed build are becoming more common.

Teeth - Alpha's teeth are impressive no doubt, they can even be scary at times. With two upper canines and two lower canines sharp and ready to bite. When they bite someone to leave a mark, its serious business. Such a mark lasts a long time and if not careful can require stitches. So remember, when leaving a mark on your partner, to be careful not to injure them.

Status - Like everything else, Alphas used to be the ones to solely hold higher up positions, with their inherent nature to control, it was an obvious choice. Though sometimes their pride can twist into arrogance which leaves a stain on their spot as head of a business. However, alphas are still key to maintaining a business and can offer a certain sort of stability and confidence in other employees if done correctly.

Omegas.

Omegas are considered the base submissive dynamic, but don't let that classification deceive you! While omegas tend to be more passive and easy to get along with, like every human they have a variety of boundaries. Each person is different but today will be learning about the average omega, just remember nothing is set in stone!

Scents - They tend to be lighter and sweeter, on the spectrum of floral and desserts. There are often used to help calm or drive alphas crazy sometimes.

Anatomy - While female omegas can give birth, male's cannot despite the fact the create slick. There's a lot of speculation around this, as to why there would be male omegas to begin with if they can't procreate.

The earliest records seem to point towards the fact that in ancient times were a dangerous place and weaker males would likely end up dying without protection. So evolution has provided them with the ability to pass off as an omega to garner the protection of an alpha. Now days we don't need such things, but male omegas are here to stay.

Build - Omegas are generally smaller in build than other dynamics, softer and more flexible. That is not always the case now that we are in a progressive society where one can be independent.

Teeth - Watch out because omegas have some sharp little teeth. Not as intimidating or impressive as an alpha, but still there. Their canines may be petite but they are sharps, slotting in perfectly with the two sharp lower canines. These are meant to provide a matching mating bite with their partner, though the marks aren't as prominent as other dynamics.

Status - In modern day, I wish I could say discrimination is a thing of the past, that is not completely true. There are laws in effect that help protect omegas, but not everyone follows the laws. Omegas are now protected against discriminations in the work place, so they can become a boss if they're determined enough. It won't be easy unfortunately, but hopefully some day we as a society can cast aside such prejudices!

As you read the telling of the tale of Zekrom and Reshiram let me give you a more in depth view of the world around them. I'll be logging all sorts of neat little info blocks here so you can learn along the way! Don't hesitate to send me asks, students, my office is always open!
