So I know we've seen Emmet's reactions to Corbeau's expressions on Emmet's body. And we know that Corbeau is worried about Emmet's general expressions messing up his images.

But like, has this man ever stopped to think like "Wow, my face can make a lot of expressions that people think I'm cute. Time to either never smile again and amp up my makeup the moment I get my body back or potentially use that to my advantage to get away with something I'd never get away with otherwise."

Cause all I'm saying is Pretty Privilege exists, Baby Faced Corbeau has it, and I'd say it can be weaponized.

I have to ask. How would Corbeu react to be given a shiny hisuian Zorua? He strikes me as a guy who likes rarity, might like the Zorua even more when it evolves and reveals it has the colors of the gang in its fur.

- seeing the expensive collection of items he has on display in his office, including a huge hisuian overqwil vase, i feel as though he loves collecting rare things so he’d be ecstatic to be gifted a shiny hisuian zorua, with it evolving into a pokemon that fits the rust syndicate palette perfectly being an additional bonus

- I hc that corbeau was very busy dealing with what would soon be the rust syndicate (it being the “venture” adder mentions lysandre helped fund in game) so he wasn’t really there to witness the year or two that followed lysandre’s fall into anger and supposed death. he would call to give updates on his progress of building up the rust syndicate but lysandre had been more distant than before. corbeau thought he was just busy; he never expected for things to turn out the way they did. he has a lot of regrets, thinking about what he could have done to dissuade him from making the decisions he thought were necessary…

- Also recently read an incredible Lysandre and Corbeau fic and have a lot of thoughts rn about the complicated feelings he might have for his benefactor: I mean he’s grappling with the idea that his role model in life - the one who taught him to take as long as he give back to the world, who taught him to play his part in making lumiose a better place - did something so horrible as to want to destroy the world.

Lysandre did a terrible thing and now he doesn’t remember it at all. Corbeau can’t decide what he’s suppose to feel about the guy, doesn’t know what he wants from him now that he knows he’s alive.

- Was is approval? (he giving back what what he’s taken, paying back all that was was given to him plus interest. does he see it? what he taught him to do?)

- An apology? (doesn’t he deserve one? even if it’s from someone who doesn’t remeber what they’re apologizing for).

- Maybe he wants a reason. A reason why he - the person who saw some good in some stray kid like him - decided that it all wasn’t worth it. Was so angry that he thought it was better to turn his back on the world. Why, when choosing who to save, he wasn’t part of it.

- He doesn’t know if he should confront him. He doesn’t know if he can

- corbeau pays close attention to how others react to him; he is always wary of angering lysandre (despite him never showing any signs of anger to him)

- corbeau speaks some (broken) kalosian but him and lysandre mainly speak in johtonian (as lysandre is fluent in multiple languages)

- corbeau is still wearing his old clothes (freshly washed tho) bc he can’t stand to part with them even when lysandre has already bought him new clothes <- not used to throwing things away if they are still useable

L: Then why are you glaring at it?

C: I’m not…It’s nothing.

L: Corbeau
