I love in (usually Astarion) fics when the author has to explain why Tav isn't there for plot reasons. And it almost always ends up with Tav being The Worst Guy Who Ever Guy'd.

While I sit there like thanks but I got enough of that particular pain when I was eight watching Mittens talk about her tragic backstory in Bolt.
