hey everyone, I’ve put this off for a while now because honestly I don’t want to do this, but it’s time.
With everyone so busy now, returning to work, etc. (my own work hours have changed yet again, and I’m busier than ever), things have slowed to the point where it doesn’t feel productive to keep this roleplay open. I don’t have the time, most of our members don’t have the time, and it feels unfair to accept new people who won’t be able to roleplay much due to our low activity.
I really wanted to keep this going; I had plans for Sykes’ slow takeover of the town, and I love my characters and the way y’all have taken your own characters and developed them. I’ve greatly enjoyed roleplaying with you guys and forming relationships both on the dash and in real life. I’m still really invested! Real life just got too much for me, as I’m sure it did the same for some of y’all as well.
Thank you for sticking with me this past year and change. I think if a roleplay can last a year at least it can be considered successful, and you guys did that for Polaris, and I’m very grateful. Knowing me, I’ll probably have another roleplay idea down the line (or I may revive this one, who knows?), and I’ll definitely let those of you who’ve been here know if/when that happens to give y’all the opportunity to come together as a group again.
In the meantime, though, I wish y’all the best of luck in all of your endeavors, and thank you for spending the past year with me. I’ve really enjoyed getting to know some of you for the first time, and others better than before.
I love this group, I truly do, and I’m so so sorry I wasn’t able to maintain the energy and drive to keep this roleplay afloat.
