ooc. hello everyone! i'm really sorry to say this but i'm super uncertain if i'll be continuously active on this acc ;; real life has been getting in the way a lot and my muse has been,,, very fluctuating to say the least.

for the meantime, my blog will be in an indefinite hiatus and you're more than welcome to unfollow my blog. i do not mind at the slightest since i'm uncertain when i can come back and actually be like... consistently active. but since i also don't want to abandon this acc, ill still keep it up.

the salute... i'm thinking is now smth cinthe knows unconsciously. definitely smth that their past life is aware of because they were under the watch of a khaenri'ahn knight. probably for them being a field tiller, they wouldn't need to know it that seriously. but i think its natural that through valkyrie's experiences, they picked up on the salute.

shit what if that was like?? a gesture cinthe did as a way of thanks every now and then, but failed to remember it was actually the salute of the khaenri'ahn knights..... FUCK'S SAKE

There were endless curiosities that the automaton could bring up to Atria, but they withheld their words for the meantime. For all they knew, the mage could very well take them as someone trying to tip off crucial information to another. (Though it might as well be so, should someone ask.) While she seemed willfully disconnected with the rest of their ill-mannered associates, she still served for the Fatui either way. Erring on the side of caution seemed best in this circumstance.

The sounds of clattering metal became audible, sensing their joints about to pull loose. Hyacinthe lifted their leg slightly, trying their best to avoid dragging it against the gravel. " Ah, is that the way you see it? " The automaton queries, their curled digits hovered over their lips. " Of course, not that I'm opposing your statement. However, it brings a multitude of thoughts. " Knowledge wasn't a new concept. As a researcher, they were required to at least have some familiarity on the things they were looking into. You could feed information into a machine, something like Hyacinthe, and they would easily retain it for as long as it was needed. However, some other reaches of knowledge were... complex, otherwise. They remember clearly how they felt time ago, when the memories of another poured into them. Peculiar, how a machine could somehow feel the festering of emotions from within. Until now, even with their learned feelings, they still regarded themselves as something that wasn't truly alive—this was factual, but what was it on the theoretical end? And how much could they go obtaining even more of this... knowledge before something would happen to them? After all, they were only brought unto the world so long ago, and in that span of time it was if they were given the weight of the world to hold; that wasn't even all of it. They look towards Zhongli, ruminating over his statement. "I know there are those who intend to give to others with it, and others who seek to weaponize it—but knowledge is something that's ever-developing for a being like me. Yet in my case, it was given to me almost all at once, and when so much of it permeates your mind..." the automaton makes a gesture, hovering both hands above their head as if about to grip onto it. " It overwhelms you. And might I add, it could even sway you in ways you least expect. Wouldn't you agree with this?"

thinkin abt how during valkyrie's (hyacinthe's past war machine identity) brief travels on teyvat like eons ago prior to the archon war, they did encounter some of the land's ancient figures. i did imagine they came across like some olden figures of mondstadt but i still haven't quite decided who. i did establish that they met some figures of the guili assembly.

guizhong, who likely discovered them and took them in for research—grew fascinated by their developing sentience. valkyrie/hyacinthe most definitely encountered zhongli as well through her mayhaps. i can see guizhong keeping valkyrie for a bit of time acting as like?? a companion and probably introducing them to a bunch of things/people for research purposes, but ultimately decided to let them go free rather than to keep restraining them for her studies??? bc i'd see the idea of a machine harboring a sense of "humanity" is super intriguing to her and she wonders what would come of valkyrie's fate.

now that i think abt it i do kinda wanna make the ruin champions a little taller bc. i think it just fits the aesthetic of them being designed to look like colossal warriors, but i'd have to dumb down the numbers of the ones that used to exist back in khaenri'ah's existence bc?? i'd feel their creations mightve taken a bit to finish compared to other field tillers bc they were just. huge and them alone took up a sum of resources—that, and they were still considered prototypes up until then so they weren't fully mass-produced ,,, thonks JSHDJSJDJS
