Cosmos felt like his spark was going to explode with happyness! Taking Eye in a hug, The mech then lead him away to the club heâd been talking about. It was about 15 minuets later when the two arrived at the doors of the â Crystal Cavern Clubâ A dance parlor and bar with great service and atmosphere. â What do you think?â He really wanted to impress the buymech..
âClassy, I like it!â Eye Sear had stuck around his arm the whole time, humming slightly, hips swaying, the whole thing.
âDo you come here often?â He teased, looking up at Cosmos.
lawandfunction:
â Oh-Ok.. I can deal with that.â He took out the money required and put them into the buymechâs servo, smiling softly as he was getting very warm under his armored shell. â So⊠shall we go now, Eye?â He asked, patting the peacockâs digits. Gosh, Cosmos was a bit of a nervous mech, but he really didnât have very good social skills, so he didnât want to upset his partner for the evening.
Eye Sear examined the credits before tucking them away. âSounds good, handsome mech. Iâm all yours,â he purred. He linked their fingers together and grinned, winking. âYou lead the way.â

Hearing this, he began to relax alittle bit. â I.. I would like that. I know a nice club that would be nice.â He gave a smile, then Cosmosâs light started up again as he blushed, this time they had gone from white to a pink! Taking a few vents, he looked at Eye and nodded. â Um⊠how⊠how much would I need to pay you, th-then?â He said, worrying that he hadnât brought enough Schanix with him.Â
âFor a basic night? And depending on what you wanna do after?â He chuckled, leaning on his hand, moving into his personal space. âStarts at 500 shanix. And like I said - depends on what you wanna do after. If itâs just basic, no problem, but if you want to get extra freaky, itâll cost you.â
OOC:: A small update on my life, and why I havenât been as active.
TL;DR- Work keeps screwing me over, life is stressful, and i got horribly horribly sick for about a week and some change.

â I-er-uahmmâ He stammered, feeling blush coating his facial features. âM-mostly companionship.. with something at the end, if you wanted? that isâŠ.. if my weirdness hasnât driven you offâŠâ His optics looked down sadly. Cosmos had a bit of self-esteem problems at times, but he was willing to give it a shot. â We could.. go out for some food and drinks? Or.. go dancing?â Noting the others Pede nudging his large pede, he tapped his back against Eyeâs.
He hummed. âI can work with that.â Eye Sear smiled. âFood and drinks sounds like a lovely start. Then we can go dancing. If youâd like, maybe I give you a special dance of your own.â He winked.
vietalis:
âEye Sear, itâs okay,â she assured again. âI know that this is really scary because of past experiences but I promise that Iâm going to take care of you.â
âYouâre sweet,â he muttered, but rather tense. It was easy to feel the anxiety in his field, even with it pulled tight and close and closed. He thinned his lip plates.
It would be so much easier if he was just out, then he could just wake up, it be over, bam, done, complete, finished. But no. Rev had to be patient and kind and good at her job.
How dare she.
âItâs going to be over soon, right? Because that would be great.â

Noting the beautiful colors, Cosmos blushed. â Your cape makes you look like a comet with itâs sparkiling tail⊠â He ahemed to himseld, and lead the birdbot to a private booth nearby and Cosmos helped Eye sit before he took a seat himself.  â Mostly, Iâm just looking for company. To spend the evening with another.â He explained, wiggling his interlaced fingers. Primus, he must sound desperate. â Iâve just been really lonely and to have someone to be with, just for a night, That would make my rotation cycle, Eye Sear.âÂ
Eye Sear leaned on the table, chuckling. âSo, just companionship? Or are you expecting to take me home for a bit at the end?â He tilted his head. âI just need to know what the plan is so I can rate you accordingly.â He crossed his legs under the table, bumping his pede against the other mech.
vietalis:
âDonât worry,â she soothed in her quiet, airy voice. âI take no offense and Iâve got you.â
She looked over the results, seeming completely unbothered. âAlright,â she uttered, lips twisting to the side in a thoughtful manner. This wasnât impossible, it would just take a bit of time.
âIâm going to do whatâs entirely necessary today and weâll gradually work down the list,,â she decided. âAny updates I need to do that include hardware I will, of course, highly suggest going under for. But for now Iâm going to start with thisâŠkind of chunky software update. Without it, youâre left wide open to malware.â
âBut malware canât be that bad. I mean, if I got a bunch of viruses, then you might as well put me under to clear it out. Malware. Great idea, let me just go find some.âÂ
He let out a long, weary sigh.
vietalis:
âI promise this isnât going to hurt.â And the insertion of the chip and the detection process was, as she said, painless if not entirely boring. But while the data she needed began its upload, her hand reached out to take her free one and give a gentle squeeze.
Eye Sear seemed increasingly distressed, but he locked himself to keep from shaking, and tried to focus on something else, staring through her, not all there.Â
He needed to calibrate his energon brewing today, check the levels of minerals in each batch-
He jerked slightly at the touch on his hand and looked down, almost pulling back, but he stopped himself. âSorry. Told you I was a mess,â he said quickly, shrugging.
And he was, really - plenty of systems that needed updates, plenty of self diagnostic reports. Was there any part of him that didnât need some sort of update, touch up, or care? Maybe one or two.
vietalis:
âItâs alright, weâll take this slow and Iâll walk you through every step of my process.â She held up a USB chip. âThis is connected to the machine behind my shoulder. Itâs going to read the data on your software and give me all the details of your last updates, state of virus protection and all that. You donât need to do anything but let me put it into the appropriate fitting slot.â She didnât do such just yet. âCan I get you anything to drink?â
âA double strong sedative with a nice stasis topping?â He asked, voice flat. âJust, do whatever. The faster we get started the faster itâs over, right?â He pouted, looking off to the side.
vietalis:
She grazed the ports with her fingertips, giving him a sense of grounding in the here and now. Patiently she smiled, nodding. A lot of what he said had cause to raise alarm, but she stayed silent on it. âYou can stand if you like, but Iâm thinking it might be more comfortable to sit.â
Of course it was alarming. The poor bird has been through some shit.
He almost flinched at the first touch, jerking his arm down, before locking his arm with an audible click and jerking it stiffly back up. âSorry.â
He huffed, vents sputtering as they already started dumping heat from stress. âIâm done. Itâs going to uncomfortable either way.â
vietalis:
âA lot of work I do is minimally invasive and painless. Iâll talk you through everything.â She nodded over to one of the cots. âI just need you to open up your data exchange port so I can see where Iâm updating software.â
He eyed the cot and moved closer, but he didnât sit down. âCan I do it standing? Iâm really good at that.â He winked at her, though he did open up his port, after a long moment. He held out his arm, lights around the ports glowing brightly in their stressed state.
âMy base coding is uh, well, manual labor and and servitude.â Might as well be open. âSome of it hasnât been touched since before the war, in lieu of protocol and higher protocols. But that slag is fine.â He paused. âAnd donât worry about my neural pathways.â
vietalis:
She bit her glossa so sharply it drew blood. But she forced herself to smile. âWell, Iâm licensed so I â I most certainly wonât be doing any of that unethical nonsense.â
He hummed, already feeling the need to run and escape or just shriek, but this was Rev. Rev was safe and good and certainly not some creeped up gutter-medic who had probably had his license revoked.
âYeah, yeah, I know. But thatâs the core of it, alright? And I know that, but itâs a lot easier to just... yâknow. Put me in medical stasis.â His spark was already thrumming, but hey, she could figure that out for herself.
vietalis:
She flinched. âYouâve had that happen to you?â
âOh well, yeah. How else was I supposed to pay gutter medics when I didnât have any credits and I was working the streets?â He shrugged, then pointed at the welds on his cheeks. âHow do you think I got these?â
