okay so i definetely have read a couple fics like this!! I checked my lists and i couldnt find any tho :(. i suggest u go to ao3 and search gotham or gotham city in the character tag. i think it came up with like 80 fics for me. there looks to be a good amount that might match your description. but do any of my followers know which fic anon is talking about?
