My friend has been taking beautiful photographs of plants to make a book about people's complex affairs with plants.
This one is a break up.

Toilet Paper mag just keeps coming up today. Walked into a Media Lab where I work to a person holding up their book edition as a reference for their photo class. What a juicy take on grotesque.
Video interview with Sandra Gibson, Luis Recoder and Olivia Block about their double 16mm projector performance "Untitled" & double 35mm projector performance "Aberration…
I asked Sandra Gibson how can I show their work and she pointed me to this, but, of course, it goes without saying that recording her and Luis Recoder's work is a design/art/archive/fill-in-the-blank challenge within itself. I think this interview offers a nice perspective on what Gibson+Recoder do and how they do it, which as it seemed from their radiant willingness to answer questions was what they themselves are the most excited about. To me, what I saw was hypnotic and theatrical, something that can only be described with "imagine...".
have been throwing morse code audio into photoshop (god bless archaic ps3 that allows to input raw data). will see what comes out of this
