A Walk in the Skies: July Collection 💗
I've finally finished the July collection and I'm exhausted haha! It's been years since I designed anything from scratch, so I especially hope you like this one haha
The theme for this collection was decided by a poll I did, and Howl's Moving Castle won!
So the challenge was to capture the film's aesthetic in the clothing, instead of making it look like a costume, I tried to give it a more “everyday - formal” use.
I took the aesthetic of Sophie's world, reminiscent of 19th-century Europe before World War I, and Howl's aesthetic, with his whimsical and vain air, and combined the into one I hope I was able to achieve it
The film has a beautiful soundtrack, but I think one of the songs I remember most is "A Walk in the Skies" by Joe Hisaishi. I think just hearing the song reminds you of the movie haha

Por fin terminé la colección de julio y estoy agotada jaja
Hacía años que no diseñaba nada desde cero, así que espero que especialmente les guste esta coleccion jaja

Así que el reto era capturar la estética de la película en la ropa, pero en lugar de que pareciera un disfraz, intenté darle una sensación más de cotidiano - formal
Tomé la estética del mundo de Sophie, que se basa en la Europa del siglo XIX antes de la Primera Guerra Mundial, y la estética de Howl, con su aire fantástico y vanidoso, y las combiné espero que lo haya logrado
La película tiene una banda sonora preciosa, pero creo que una de las canciones que más recuerdo es "A Walk in the Skies" de Joe Hisaishi. Creo que solo escucharla te recuerda a la película jaja
