I think it’s exactly these simple moments that make life beautiful. The smell of coffee around the house, random songs playing on the radio, and him pulling me into dancing like the whole world could wait a little longer. Maybe that’s what spring means to me. A warm heart filled with little moments I never want to forget. 🌸

This is Sax if Fen hadn't persuaded him to let go of the excess magic and leave the in-between at the end of my story. In fact we very nearly had this Sax, because I was (and still am) intrigued by the idea of the characters winning and achieving their goal but 'losing' Sax in the process, and there was potential for a whole other arc to begin... however I decided to stick with the ending I'd already planned, because after 4 years I just didn't have it in me to continue. There would have been so much angst for Fen, and as much as I love a bit of delicious whump, I do need a light at the end of the tunnel at some point 😂

A small explanation for his appearance under the cut.
To make things easier for myself I didn't download anything specially for this, and just worked with what I had.
The extra eyes are from @strangegrapefruit 's Oracle Set. In the story, we already saw him with changed eyes (my own edit) and the light emissions , which I chose because he was in control of so much magic, and was opening multiple portals between multiple dimensions while drawing in and expelling pieces of the shattered Grim, and I figured he needed some kind of magical eyesight to help out.
In this AU, I imagined that after spending more time in the in-between he would create more magical eyes to help him observe the vast everything he now has access to.
The longer fingers are @sewersims Bog Witch Claws which are a favourite of mine! I used them here partly because I don't often get a chance to use them, and partly because, like his extra eyes, I thought the elongated fingers might help him weave his spells and pick apart the things he finds out there.
His chest scar is missing because I used his younger, medieval story version to take these shots, and I couldn't be bothered to add it. But also maybe existing out of time and space, and having unrestricted access to such vast quantities of magic, means that a little stab wound can be easily dissolved 🤷
