the skintones just wont show up im my game.

i’m sorry to hear that :l i can’t think of a reason why they wouldn’t show up. skininator (the program i used to make the skintones) is up to date and they work on mine and other people’s computers as far as i can tell.

does anyone have any idea what’s going on?

alright guys so here they are! first i’d like to thank @jennathelamb, @its-niwttwin, @gaypixelpeople and @milky-0​ for their feedback and all of you who left a like on my wip pics and encouraged me to post this.

you’re going to notice some of these are very similar, and that they’re all in the same scale of brightness. i chose not to make any darker or brighter versions because a lot of factors influence skintones in your game, including some cc that can brighten/darken skin color, the lighting in your game, whether or not you use sweetfx, how you edit your pictures, and even your computer screen.

instead, you get a happy medium between dark and bright that i think can work for most cc and MORE diverse skin colors that i’ve managed to narrow down to 12. most people are probably not going to use all of them, but at least there’s a little something for everyone :)

use cc to your advantage on these skin colors. a few of them might look too bland/saturated to your taste, but they will be greatly improved if you mix and match skin details on them! i also highly recommend using a faceshine like this one.

these will show up after the base game skin colors. i’ve ordered them in a way that hopefully they will stay in their intended order even if you have other custom skintones. please let me know if that’s not the case.

i’m 500% done with the lack of olive/gold based dark skintones

making new ones is a pain in the ass though（；¬＿¬) the game adds a blue tint to the texture (no it doesn’t, it adds brightness. i’m dumb) so you pretty much have to go through trial an error to get what you want. i wish i could make all the colors on that swatch available but they just don’t look good ;o;

added makeup and edited the second picture lightly. throw your opinions my way please~ (i apologize in advance for posting in the cc tags, i’m doing it just in case someone’s interested)
