What does music look like?  György Sándor Ligeti (1923-2006) ”Artikulation is one of two electronic pieces Ligeti composed in Stockhausen’s Cologne studios, just after he escaped the Soviet invasion of Budapest in 1956. (…) In 1970, Rainer Wehinger created a “listening score” for the piece, which is a sort of graphic score in reverse, designed to articulate the work’s musical relationships in visual form, and to create a multimedia experience from Ligeti’s pure electronics, which a YouTube user has expertly synchronised.” - Guardian Image sourced here
